I took it as Dean realizing that he's the one that shortened "Castiel" to _Cas_ placing them on a more intimate level. He would have to explain that if he said his friends name was Castiel because the obvious question would be "Why do you call him Cas?"

I'm supposed to be doing summer assignments for my last year of high school and now I'll have to explain to a teacher why my work is soaked with tears. This video is even more heart wrenching because it included so many scenes from when Cas lost his memory and the song just fits so damn well. And everything else. I can't handle the feels right now. I watched this once and it hurt like a bitch, I took a couple of minutes to shake it off and watched it again thinking it won't hurt as much as it did just minutes before... ...I was wrong. I was so wrong. I've paused it with only 48mins to go and I. Just. Fucking. Can't. This killed me in the sweetest, more hurtful and beautiful way. I haven't seen any further then season 6.. So when Cas said: "I'm sorry, I don't remember you" It broke my heart and I started crying... I should stop watching spoilers, but I can't help it.. This was really beautiful, thank you for making this!
