The injuries throughput the league is due to World cup in winter then a short summer break. Some have managed it better but all athletes aren't the same and all clubs have been affected. Newcastles problem is we had more games this season with less players through injury which has had a knock on affect. Players who played loads of games at start of season are now breaking down as theyve hardly had a rest. It could be the same or worse next year with the Euros in the summer, players need a rest to get over knocks and recuperate. The WC in winter was a mistake
