When the urge for change hits you just gotta go with it! Come this February I will have reached my 3 yr buzz anniversary. Like you, though, I had this same 'time for a change' drive and began to grow out the top, but still keeping the sides buzzed. All was going great until about 2 months into lock down and I was finding myself rewatching your videos more and more to admire your buzz. Long story short I went back to the full buzz again and instantly I felt like me again! I will enjoy watching you on your growing adventure!! ❤🤗💚

4 months and it will be a proper pixie length. I managed to get there and then hated how average I felt. 😅 Don't be so scared though, change is a good thing. Edit to add: my daughter has alopecia. You gave her the confidence to go out without a hat or scarf, and I'm grateful for that. I just hope you know how your confidence and awesome vibe really inspires others.

I went a month without the buzz and I HAD to cut it and now it’s the shortest it’s ever been! Can’t see me going back but you never know, curious till watch your grow out progress!

YAY!!! I’ve kept my head shaved for the last two years ... growing it to the three mark max then shaving it all over again. My last shave was back in August and I was DETERMINED to grow it all out ... I took a guard 3 to it weeks ago 🤪 You will be my own accountability person to resist the temptation....though I’m bleaching it soon lol You Do You, Sister!!!! I gained the confidence of shaving my hair because if you... I already grew it out and now I am coloring fun colors before I shave it off again. Hair is so fun to play with. It definitely is a part of ourselves that allows us to change and express ourselves as we grow! Have fun growing it out and trying new haircuts and styles. Im sure there will be days you will love it and other days where your patience will be tested 😅 XOXO

Awesome😁 I shaved my head in January 2020 and I’ve just started growing it out again in like April... I’ve had it cut and somewhat styled a couple times. I’ve also worn wigs and hats... it is strange to grow it back... lol... it’s a journey!

I finally came to the decision to buzz my head because of you and it was so freeing, but for the last 3 years I've been growing my hair out and making that decision was freeing as well. Growing my hair out has been super annoying and taken a bit to get used to again lol but I don't regret either decision. Thanks for the inspiration ♥️

U go giiiirl! I've had mine buzzed for a year then I tried to grow my hair again for another year but I buzzed again hahah it's sooo hard! Im turning 30 soon too and I'm thinking about letting it grown to a tiny pixie cause its not long but its not such a huge statement for a 30 year old lady LOOOL

Omg Olivia brave decision!. I've had a pixie cut for 2 years and after growing it for 1 and 1/2 years while doing trims, I'm now to a hair style that I love which is a pretty bob hair cut. But jeez the process! You have to be patient. If I didn't cut it since first growing it, it would probably be to my shoulder now but with 0 style. It would be weird as hell. Longer in the back (mullet) if you know what I mean. You have to cut it a little through the stages if you want it to have some kind of a style otherwise it will be annoying as hell. But you will end up growing it. Can't wait to see the process. 😍 the positive thing is that you get to experience different hair'dos. And time passes so in 2 years you are going to be proud of yourself !😛 Yeyyy!

Go for it and do whatever feels right to you, its all short again in a couple of minutes if you wish I couldn´t imagine growing my hair out, I just love the shaved head too much even though I also liked having very long hair. Nothing beats the buzz in my opinion :-)

I grew out my buzzcut in January...Ive now got a really awkward bob haircut but the desire to have a baby pixie is strong some days 🤣 Imma see how I feel with long hair...if it doesn't feel like "me", those clippers and me are gonna have a reunion!

Started growing mine out three months ago. Dying it has definitely helped. It was purple now it’s blue. I might trim it in the back so it doesn’t look like a mullet. Good thing we have beanies, hats and scarfs to hide the awkwardness!

Gabby when I saw the title I knew you were gonna say your growing your hair out, lol. I'm doing the same although I love my hair short I'm doing a experiment to see how long I can manage growing my hair. I bought a scarf and I have a couple hats as well. I'm trying to learn how to tie a scarf correctly lol. No matter your journey I'll still support you. 😄💜🤩

Been growing mine for 6 weeks...I just felt the same as you...I feel like change is happening and I want my hair to grow with me....but who knows I may go back bald again one day.

I buzzed mine about two months ago from a short Pixi, and I got a fade today (I just went brown from bleach blonde), and I feel like I look like a military man💀. Roll with the phases, one of the times I grew my buzz cut out I wore a beanie for 4 months straight 😂 but then 4yrs later i had mermaid hair, then a buzz again haha so yeah just roll with it and try to enjoy the quirks along the way! 🥰 can’t wait to watch your journey, thanks for sharing!

I’ve been growing out my buzzcut for two months now. It’s been hard. But I did shave the sides and back a few times to keep from looking like anymore awkward than I already look and feel 😂 show us please how you will manage your grow out process. I have a lot of headbands and some hats/beanies and even a wig! I am not brave enough to wear the wig out yet.

In the process of growing out my buzz cut. The first month is the monchichi & the second month is a little bit better. Once you get to month 3 you at least feel like you have a baby pixie. It's a struggle. I chose fall winter to grow out my hair so I could wear hats!!! 😂

I've grown mine out a tiny bit--about 3/4 inch--solely because hair color shows up a little better when not so much scalp shows through :) I also don't have to bleach/color quite so often when there's a little length. I'm sure I'll buzz it very short again soon, but for now, I've got the chia pet thing going too

Omg @gabrielle olivia you inspired me to shave all my hair and i have been doing this for four years now and every summer my mum shaves all my hair with the clippers and i think it's the best feeling there is when the clippers go over my head and all my hair is on the floor I love it and the rest of the year I let my hair grow and then when the weather is almost summer I have my hair back in a short ponytail and when the summer holidays have started again the clippers go over it again I really hope you keep shaving your hair off too because it's so beautiful with you hope I get a refund love talking about this

Oh god. I’ haven’t trimmed in like 3 weeks and I’m losing my shit. It’s going in all directions. I’m not loving life. Now it just looks “messy”. When I wake up, I look like a nut. Forget the hats.
