This has been in the works for a long time so I hope you enjoy it! 🤍 This mini-movie is derived from fiction and research regarding anorexia nervosa in order to portray it to the best of my ability. Please keep in mind that there are VARIOUS ways one can develop an eating disorder and there are MANY FACTORS as well. I really find this educational in every way! This short movie is really unique, and I see that a lot of effort has been put in. I used to be insecure about my looks and body too. But I realised that it shouldn't effect me or any of others. SELF love is the KEY for evething! Thank you for spreading this message to my heart, I really appreciate it! :)

This is absolutely beautiful. I had feeling I was going to cry but not this hard. I had an eating disorder as well (bulimia nervosa) and I the way you portrayed body dysmorphia was spot on. It was really realistic specifically when she looked through comments on social media posts. My ED developed for different reasons but social media is definitely a huge factor for it. And feeling the need to compete, too. If someone said they only had a piece of bread one day, I tried so hard to just eat one piece of fruit. But I couldn’t. I couldn’t eat around others and I hardly would ever join my family for dinner. But I ate at night. My grades dropped. My skin broke out. Eating disorders ruin lives and I want to thank you for showing that so well.

This mini movie almost brought me to tears because you had no idea how badly I wanted to lose weight just to become more prettier and have the perfect body. I know most girls can relate to this because we've all been through it and compared our appearance with other pretty girls. I just hope one day, ALL girls realize and remember we're pretty in our own unique way. Whether your chubby, thin, skinny, fat, have diff skin color, have a diff voice, etc.. that's just how we are. We may not have the kind of body and face we wanted but just remember that you are beautiful in your own way and no one can change that about you.

I really loved this, it’s such an important message. Coming from a similar situation, I always compared myself to girls that were prettier and skinnier than me, I’d always compare my physical appearance to theirs, and it made me feel so bad about myself. From when I was in middle school, I was so afraid to even look in the mirror, because I always thought I was ugly. It took me such a long time to even recognize my own beauty. It’s very important to recognize yourself for your own beauty, and to love yourself for who you are. Because there is only ONE of YOU in a million. Thank you for sharing this Siena. ❤

This is super educational and underrated! really deserves more likes! Recently, i had a friend who always wanted to look thin and skinny, basically she started to starve herself and eat less, only drinking water if she was hungry. this really concerned our friend group and we talked to her. she just got mad at lashed out at us (like what grace did to april and keith). i told her what anorexia is and how it could actually kill you but she just denied the fact that she was not okay. i was terrified at the fact that my best friend for 6 years is basically just starving herself to look pretty. Luckily, a while later, she noticed how thin she was getting and noticed how we were right. she was diagnosed with anorexia but she stopped and decided to eat more than what she would eat. she has recovered a bit and is now perfectly fine. Just remember that you are beautiful the way you are, we all have different body shapes and sizes. sorry for the long story you dont need to read it all..

i have been worrying so much about my body lately that i have been counting calories and eating less, eating only a meal a day. of course no one has noticed because i dont have anyone that cares about me so its sad and the only thing i see thats important is loosing weight and starving myself once i see a girl with my dream body

i went through something similar a few months ago where i purposely wouldn’t eat for literal days, and although it wasn’t because i hated my body but because i was criticized by family. it had been going on for so long i thought it was the only way out. when i has become noticeably skinnier without even working out, (clearly sick or something) i was praised, not questioned. i had nobody there to care for me or get through it, even though i was obviously sick. when i had gotten through it all by myself, i was criticized again for my body being back to the way it was. im proud i got through it but mad i was alone. if anybody ever is fighting through this, please reach out. to me, so a friend, to anyone. getting help makes things so much easier. just know you are perfect no matter what, and i love and care about you ❤

I know I'm a lil late (like four months late) but I really really really LOVE this video, as a person who struggles with body image and weight this makes me realize that "looks" is just looks, it doesn't matter what u look like in the outside (I know that sounds really corny) it matters is what u are in the inside and what u feel, btw I'm not saying it's "irrelevant" to "change" ur looks or anything, what I meant is just be happy with ur self and don't compare to others. I ended up crying when this finished because I'm 12 years old and I feel like I'm fat..I'm only slightly chubby I maybe need to loose a bit of weight but it's gotten to the point when I hardly eat lunch and almost never eat breakfast one time I fainted due to low blood sugar..this actually helped me understand things about myself
