generaiders is my single favorite archetype, and the one i've put the most time into learning. i've made pure generaiders, generaider dinos, generaider monarchs, generaider starry knights, and i'm probably gonna give this a shot too. it's just a fun archetype to splash into literally everything

Talking about Maxx C... It reminds me of someone I dueled, he drops Maxx C on his turn, which is the 1st turn, only later he summoned Junk Synchron and proceed to make 2 Quasar against me!

The skates do have an animation, you can see it on your profile, but it doesn't play in duels on PC for some reason. Apparently on console they work tho

I love Generaiders one funny thing is that if you have boss stage you can quick effect trishula with a jet synchron combo because of the tokens, it's amazing. Generaiders pops off and can really bully eldlitch.

Generaiders are insanely fun. I built some monstrosities on Master Duel such as Metaphys Generaider, Fluffal Generaider (pretty neat), and now messing around with Ursarctic Generaider 😅🧠

I'm so glad master duel came along and forced all the TCG brainlets to actually play with Maxx C. The debate on that card has been absolutely braindead for years because of all the solitaire combo players poisoning the well. Maxx C is not only fine, Maxx C is INTEGRAL to the game. The TCG's balance is an enormous clusterfuck BECAUSE Maxx C was banned. The game isn't designed by TCG people, it's designed by OCG people, and it's designed with Maxx C existing in mind. There have been large periods of time in which you couldn't play traps because Combo decks made the game entirely turn 1 centric. You broke the board instantly, or you died. People love to say that Maxx C is "format warping", but it's not. The problem is that all the people talking about this don't understand anything about game design, and so they miss out on what Maxx C is doing to yugioh because they're too busy being concerned about what it feels like Maxx C is doing to them. They have no vision beyond their own narrow, emotional perspective and extrapolate that out to the entire meta. I'll make this as clear for people as possible: Maxx C is banned in the TCG > Combo players can mostly do whatever they want > more and more combo tools are released > consistent 'break my board or die' decks take over the meta > maximizing hand traps like Nibiru, Ash and Droll becomes necessary > players stop playing trap cards because they're too slow > players stop playing backrow removal > floodgates become unbeatable insta-kills > players whine about flood gates > flood gates get banned > combo becomes wildly out of control > shitloads of combo cards get banned, even though most are only banned because of the way they interact with the combo and would have been fine had the metagame not allowed for degenerate combos > archetypes with cards that get used in degenerate combos become unplayable as their best cards get banned for things that have nothing to do with the archetype (blackwings, plants, junk, psychic, etc.) In nature, this is called a "trophic cascade". In Yellowstone National Park , the extermination of wolves caused floods and land slides. How? Because the wolves at the deer and elk. Without them, the herbivore population got out of control. They over-grazed the lands, killing the plants whose roots held the dirt together. When the grazing grasses disappeared, they began to eat tree bark, which killed the trees and destabilized the river banks. Wolves balanced the Yellowstone "metagame" by ensuring herbivores didn't get out of control. Maxx C balances the YuGiOh metagame by ensuring combo never gets out of control, because when it does it has enormous cascading effects that make the game an irritating mess. People don't want to hear this, but it's true - Combo is extremely unhealthy for this game. People also don't want to hear this, but it's true - casual players are almost always correct about a game, because if it isn't fun for them then the game is fundamentally broken and WILL begin to atrophy and die. Sitting there, watching your opponent jack off for 15 minutes only to draw your first card, not get a board breaker and immediately have to concede isn't fun. It isn't good gameplay. And it wasn't intended. It's only possible because the TCG decided to ban Maxx C.
