Just purchased the tye slides in the size according to their size chart since I'm honestly unsure of my true shoe size.. 😅 you mentioned that they were a bit snug at first but how much would you say they stretched? Thinking that I may have gotten a size too small but also don't want a slide that's too big if I exchange it for a size up.. 😕

Thank you so much for making this video. I couldn't find many reviews on Dear Frances on KZfaq and your video was very timely for me. I just purchased the Tye Slides in Black (I got 2 sizes as I am at that annoying size of not quite 37 but not quite 38 either). The 37 fit me but barely (length-wise) so I went with the 38 and returned the 37. It's officially Autumn here and like clock work, it's been constantly raining here in Michgan! So I've been wearing the slides around the house lol. I also find that my feet make that "interesting" noise in the slides and found a stash of sole inserts in my sock drawer (who knew they'd come in so handy!). I have them in different sizes, shapes and styles and I'm experimenting with them to see which ones work best. I'm curious to know which ones you use. The spirit boots I bought secondhand from the realreal for $200 in good condition. They were SOOOOOOO painful. I re-sold them - I tried to wear them so many times but the ball of my foot would ache so bad.

I just noticed a vegan version of the black Spirit Boot online which has a rubber sole. If you could go back, would you opt for that version? I want a pair but I'm so torn on which color to pick! I also love the Elle boot but I wish the outsole by the ball of the foot was as thick as the Spirit 😕
