I grew up singing these songs. Really truly miss this congregational singing. Exceedingly rare in New Zealand these days. Listening to these and crying like a baby.

Dear Saviour, Thou art mine, How sweet the thought to me! Let me repeat Thy name, And lift my heart to Thee. Refrain: Mine! mine! mine! I know Thou art mine; Saviour, dear Saviour, I know Thou art mine. Thou art the sinner's Friend, So I Thy friendship claim, A sinner saved by grace, When Thy sweet message came. (Refrain) My hardened heart was touched; Thy pardoning voice I heard; And joy and peace came in, While listening to Thy Word. (Refrain) So let me sing Thy praise, So let me call Thee mine; I cannot doubt Thy word, I know that I am thine. (Refrain)

@@Savedandkept ARE YOU THE MUSIC PASTOR THERE? I AM 40+ YEAR MUSIC PASTOR HERE IN THE SOUTH EAST IN USA AND IS IT STILL LIKE THIS EVERY SUNDAY?? YOU HAVE GREAT CONGREGATION PARTICIPATION IN SINGING
@Savedandkept2 жыл бұрын
@@JimVM I'm afraid the church does not have a music pastor but the congregation is regularly encouraged to sing with all of their heart, as unto the Lord. I would think that they regard this as a very important part of worship. Thanks for your kind comments.
