Gail ! Not William ! We took our daughter to see Boy George in 1984 and he is one singer who sounds as good in person as he does on record . I was impressed ! Beautiful voice , Saw Madonna later on and she lipsynched the whole concert .

Hank Williams died at age 29 in the backseat of his car in route to a concert. Thousands of people attended his funeral in Montgomery, Alabama. Tony Bennett’s song Cold Cold Heart was written by Hank Williams.

That TV Guide was featured in "the movie". Never knew who was on the cover until this video. Andrew Duggan played Murdoch Lancer in 'Lancer' another nice connection to "the movie" within "the movie" haha

I have only ever seen your unboxing videos so I don't know if the harp glissando sound upon each gift unfurling is something unique to you...I do know it makes me happy every time. :-) These are fabulous gifts, so thoughtful & hilarious...& eerily from my era. Hi Scott!! I've been watching your unboxing videos for a couple of months and always enjoy them! I especially enjoy your sound clips that go with each reveal: Liberace onstage, Col. Sanders from KFC, etc. The regular "donors"/senders are my favorite. Some of them turn the packages into pieces of artwork, which then you have to destroy with your heavy duty knives cutting them open! #IndustrialStrengthShipping Here's a fun moment I had this morning at the grocery store: I was checking out the international foods aisle and, in the UK section, I found two items that you routinely receive from one particular couple in England: Jammie Dodgers cookies and your favorite shepherd's pie mix. I can't eat shepherd's pie on my diet but I did pick up a package of Jammie Dodgers as a special treat to myself! If we could attach photos to our comments here I would send you a photo! Hey Scott, here's a bit of trivia. Kate Jackson and Michael Incident were in a movie years after The Rookies were cancelled. The movie was Making Love. But I bet you already knew that.

I had a friend that worked at a local movie theatre in 1980 / 1981 . Back then; companies "dumped" their failed product to "dollar movie theatres". Rather -- ours was "80 cents in 1980 , 79 cents in 1979 , etc.". Not sure if anyone else remembers this or not. ANYWAY: Making Love was playing there one week . During the scene when the 2 male stars first kiss: HALF the theatre got up and walked out. This happened nightly like clockwork . So my friend and the other 2 ushers had fun with it. One minute before the kiss, they opened all the exit doors and happily greeted people with smiles and "have a nice night". LOL. I hope the movie "Cruising" didn't play there.

People praise "Making Love" for being so "brave". But , truthfully ; it looks and feels like a Lifetime Movie . The bright spot was Kate Jackson who did a very good job. She was up for the role of the wife in "Kramer Vs. Kramer" but could not get released from Charlie's Angels to do it. She must have been so upset -- especially because by 1979 / 1980 Charlie's Angels was really dying a slow death .

5:09 Susan Oliver is famous for her untimely ending (more or less) as well as Star Trek . Red Buttons AND Arthur O'Connell were in the Poseidon Adventure . this movie was a flop and helped make George Hamilton a "non-star" . MAKE SURE you see "Who Killed Teddy Bear" w/ Sal Mini !!

inregards to the TVGuide yes Joan Rivers had her own talk show and apparently Johnny Carson was very Upset with her over that because he felt she used his show in order to acheive that and /or they did compete for ratings or a time slot

Hi , I did not have anything new...... until this week . I guess it will have to wait till next Unboxing. - Lance . P.S. I did not suggest "The Screaming Woman" even though it's a movie that was produced during the Golden Era Of TV movies (1971-1974) . The Silver Age is 1975-1979 and the LEAD AGE is 1980-1990. That said 4:55 ----------- As an eBay seller myself- I think someone did a "FLIP FLOP" and sent YOU the wrong item "Hank Williams Jr." and the item YOU were supposed to get went to the Hank Williams fan elsewhere in the USA . This can be a NIGHTMARE if one parties is disagreeable and will not hand over the incorrect package Sometimes it works out perfectly and BOTH parties are cool and mail the 2 items back . I check my labels THREE times to make sure they are correct. And on the correct box.
