For Bethany: This style of animation is called 8-bit animation, which has its origins in early video games, so calling it video game animation is quite accurate. It's sometimes also called Pixel Animation, or Pixel Art, which is propably more accurate here as well when there's more bits than 8 being used.

Venoms healing factor is near that of Deadpool’s, there just wasn’t any way Bane could stop him from instantly healing after every hit.

Hmm ..so that is why Tom Hardy's Eddie / Venom still lives after being stabbed by Riot in the movie. At first I tought it was BS how he still survives after that 😄 ..but back then I didn't know Venom has the pretty fast healing factor.

@@cianeck6993 Yeah, the symbiotes are just that, symbiotes. They benefit their host just as much as their host benefits them. It's when a symbiote and host don't match up well that things can turn bad. And it's also worth noting that the "offspring" of one symbiote is usually stronger than it's parent (as is the case between Venom & Carnage).

Venom is a fascinating character because his time at Spider-Man's nemesis was a brief one before he went on to be an anti-hero. It's just other media portrayed their rivalry more vividly. Since then Eddie lost the symbiote, Flash Thompson got it and became Agent Venom then went back to Eddie. When it got back to Eddie and more specifically the Donny Cates run on Venom is one of the best redemption stories for a character. It expands the lore of the symbiotes adding eldritch, primordial elements and it gives Eddie more tragedy in his backstory as well as really makes him grow as a character. The run then culminates in one of the best Marvel events in recent years, King in Black. I highly recommend the run

Yeah, this fight was a complete *stomp* Bane was impressive as hell for someone who is completely human, but Venom is just on another level. The fact that the latter can consistently match and outpace Spiderman alredy puts him beyond anything Bane can do.

Bane I like for being one of the few juggernauts that is actually very smart. Just a shame only a few of the games showcase that. Venom I like more when they’re in a anti-hero status. Maybe boring, but I just like it when villains turned allies. Also fantastic use of his MvC2 sprites. I love that game.

to be fair bane often loses his intelligence. also I love venom and symbionts in general especially antivenom.

Bane is smart in his early stage. The more buffed (by more serum / venom) he gets ..the dumber he aIso gets. That venom affects his brain / mind. Venom / the symbiote doesn't bring this weakness.

Venom is my favorite Marvel anti-hero. Though he was a character from the 90's. And most villains from that era eventually turned into anti-heroes. Just look at DC's Lobo.

so, here's a fun fact: Bane's death scene is what Batman's death scene in Batman VS Spider-man was originally how it was gonna go, but they decided to change it. :)

I absolutely love bane, but venom has always been my favorite anti-hero. One thing these guys forgot to mention (tho I wasn't paying much attention listening to this at work) venom has all of his hosts abilities in addition to his own. He's got all of spidermans, and i guess Deadpools as well since they were fused at one point. As much as I love bane, there us no way in hell the dudes even having dreams of beating venom. There is just no way

Yeah, the Voice sounded very familiar to me, but I couldn't figure it out the first few times I saw it, but I eventually put it together.

This is one of those rare death battle episodes where I really only needed to see the title of the video to know who would win. Bane is pretty tough, but Venom is in an entirely different league as far as villains go. Bane looks tougher than he is because he's the strongest among Batman's main rogue gallery, but that's not saying a lot when you compare him to spiderman's vogue gallery.

He was smart in Arkham Origins. But since its a prequel he's significantly dumber by the end when his Venom tubes are damaged and he gets brain damaged, just because he's not very bright in the other games

honestly i didn't think this was fair when it first came out. but then i began to think it was a much closer battle then i originally thought. then i realised that it is a much bigger stomp than i originally thought. R.I.P bane, the best batman villain

They did a good job at least of making it seem like Bane might have a chance because going into it I thought Venom would crush but they made some great points for Bane 🙂

People say Bane is really strong but imo this battle was a real "coughing baby vs atom bomb" moment, specially now that Venom has herald scaling (i think, i don't read the comics but its what i heard)

It's the Donny Cates run you're inferring to, where Venom gets massive amps and becomes a Juggernaut tier character plus its discovered Venom has a direct connection to Knull (god of the Symbiotes as well as creator of both Klyntar and the Nercosword) who is a Odin/Zeus tier character and after some crazy cosmic shenanigans Venom eventually becomes the new god of the Symbiotes after fusing with the Uni-power and becomes a Celestial tier being (roughly comparable to full power Gorr the god-butcher as reference). Ofc like any "good" comic run Venom loses most of his amps (tbf he had them for several months) but he still around Herald level when hes not "holding back" and has a suitable host too (now that Eddie and Venom have split "forever" lol!).

The Cates run did make the symbiote stronger (wings, resistance to fire) when it connected to Knull via the hive mind. Knull's mere feat of making the All-Black already puts him on Celestial level

Actually, depending on if you consider venom as the symbiote or if you consider venom is eddie, you can make the case that venom is even stronger now. If you say venom is the symbiote, then yes he lost all his amps. If you say venom is eddie, then he's even stronger now as he is currently the king in black and it was just stated that the king in black is the equal of the Beyonders. Not a beyonder, the beyonders, the race. Saying he's a herald ties is waaay too much of a lowball at that point.

Fun Fact, Bane figured out who Batman was, by Bruce Wayne walking into the room. He saw the way he held himself and the presence and realized he's Batman.

Bane didn't really have any advantages over Venom. Even his intelligence could be seen as inferior compared to the symbiote part of Venom. In Spiderman TAS, Venom mentioned the following: We're now part of the life force that has existed since the dawn of time. Imagine what you've turned down, Parker. Think of all this knowledge. We've seen thousands of worlds, millions of civilizations, learned many secrets always with but one goal above all else to survive and now we share these secrets with Eddy Brock. We're happy together.

I would love to see juggernaut in death battle but unfortunately, there not many good matches for him. Anyone who seems like a thematic match get squashed pretty easily while his more powerful versions get complicated to actually scale and compare. Usually he doesn’t actually get knocked out in a fight, usually just restrained or stuck.

Had Band had prep time, he probably could have won. He could have set up a way to keep Venom stuck in a confined area and had a dozen or so of his goons light him up with flamethrowers, molitovs or other incendiary weapons.

Honestly this was another mismatch if you know the characters. I mean 1 is meant to be Spiderman but stronger and Spiderman is kind of a character that would just tear bane apart. Bane is scary for a Batman villain and if your giving him a story where he can plot his way out of it it's a different story, but 1v1 no prep time, no way is he winning.
