Officer Adam Jackson describes the scene where Ahmaud Arbery was killed during the murder trial of the defendants.
Arbery was shot and killed on Feb. 23, 2020. Cellphone video leaked to the public shows two armed white men in a truck approaching the 25-year-old Black man as he runs down the road. One of the men, later identified as Travis McMichael, and Arbery struggle over McMichael's shotgun before Arbery is shot and collapses.
Travis McMichael, his father Gregory McMichael and William "Roddy" Bryan, who recorded the video, are all charged with murder in Arbery's death.

I read a comment a few days ago that was interesting. The writer said that Ahmaud was getting interested in electrical systems and said he wanted to be able to build a house for his parents with really good electrical systems. Today I read that he had some mental problems. I think his pattern of visiting the house at night was more comfortable for him. It decreased chances to run into others who may also nave liked visiting the house. I imagine he like seeing the house under construction and it stoked his own imagination about the kind of house he might be able to build for his parents. I also read that he did have some trouble with the law as a younger teenager and it seemed that he continued to get singled out over things by law enforcers as he grew up. Must've been so hard for him to deal with being approached with all kinds of questions by the law. Being cornered and blocked by the three guys must've been terrifying for him. I imagine he was a loner and basically shy with strangers. Rest in peace, Ahmaud. Peace and love to your family.

That property is huge. It's looks cool as shit. I wouldn't sneak around it at my age but if I was younger I can see myself going there to just hang out if I thought I could get away with it. Once you pass the house it's like a huge open area then at the end you have the dock building and the actual dock. Pretty chill place to be. At night time it seems like you'd have all that space to yourself and it's sort of closed off aside from the open entrances.

This is so sad. This man knows a big a** red fire truck and a ambulance.. we're not there. He's going to say he don't recall if they were.. shame on him.. he might as well shot him to. He didn't even check to see if the man was still breathing or not.. but instead, he standing there looking all kinds of dense. In some videos you can hear the man on the ground taking breaths. I hope they check the time the man died.. and compared the time of the officer being there.. to show he was still alive when the officer arrived and did nothing about it. You can't assume someone is dead, by looking! He has to be pronounced dead by checking his pulse. He's guilty just the same if he didn't help. And what I really didn't like, this cop didn't even confiscate the dad and son's guns that was used. big mistake!

I really like this judge. He has got all the attorneys behaving cooperatively unlike some of them were at the beginning.

These men were given allowances because of their service in law enforcement. It is this service that should have given them better judgement, knowledge of the law, respect for use and brandishing of firearms, and willingness to call 911. The systems that they served should be embarrassed, this is not how to protect and serve. These men did not consider Abery a citizen, they put him in the category of thug which justified anything they did. I pray the jury sees who the thugs were!

“Thugs” are also “citizens”

@@csaracho2009 A citizen is not simply a person who is born to a country, which is the definition it seems you use. It is much more to a patriot. A citizen is one who owes and gives loyalty to a government and is due all rights and protections from that government. The words ‘law abiding’ are not needed to describe a citizen, they would be redundant. A citizen has respect for and is loyal to the laws of the land. A person who does not respect and abide by laws is a thug. A thug caught, prosecuted and found guilty becomes an inmate- they lose the right to freedom. In Texas a felon loses their right to vote until their time is served, they lose their right to bear arms for life, they cannot hold any public office, nor can they serve on a jury, and they are forbidden to hold certain occupations for life. Is a thug a citizen, not in my opinion. These three guys, and possibly some in the DAs office are thugs, and undeserving of many of the rights of the rest of us! I hope those rights are taken away from them!
