Psychoanalytic theory completely contrasts this theory. How can one run away from his unconscious thoughts? How can one come to a conclusion when we don't know the intentions of the writer are unknown? Everyone would differently interpret the work. They would as many interpretations as the readers. But If we know about the author, there would be fewer interpretations. You may disagree.
