Do you use it to set parameters for loosing excess body weight, for example? Or, do you use it to rid yourself from overbearing mental excesses-ie, intellectual hubris, for example? These are the only two examples I can think of. Please, do feel free to suggest other examples. I am less interested in politics than I am in the cartoonish characters it produces.
