We've been using the Ecoflow power pack's of a while now and find them great for the purposes of our builds. The simple power, portability, installation and easy charging, just means they are so easy to use and set up. Plus they can be used literally anywhere. There are various options from Ecoflow whether you want big power for a full camper build, or you just want something simple to carry out for those trips to the beach or to use in the awning etc.
I'm honestly so impressed with these. I took one glamping recently with the family and it was so useful. My Wife loves her throffy milk for a coffee, we took the aeroccino and boom, Starbuck's in a safari tent. It also kept the children's Nintendo DS's and iPads going during the rainy British weather. It really was a god send. They are robust too, I managed drop it down a hill fairly far. Other than a few light mark's, in looks and run perfectly.
The power pack's can be found on our website transporterhq.co.uk/vw-transp...
Let us know in the comments below if you think this is a system you could use in your set-up
Please do like the video if you found it useful, it really does mean a lot.
As always, thanks for watching.

Great video! I'm looking to buy a lwb crafter in a couple of weeks. I want to kit it out with my chop saw in the van because I do a lot of stair refurbishments so in the winter I don't want to be outside freezing or in the passing rain using my festool gear. I will probably but one of these heaters everyone has now also. But to use the mid sizes festool chopsaw, what size of unit would I need and how much do these cost. Also, I want to fit a rear camera to the crafter, have you guys done this yet? Following you guys now and liked Love your lights but they will need to wait because as you know these vans aren't cheap so it's pushed me a bit. Any advice would be greatly appreciated Ian

Nice work lads , really appreciate this sort of informative video. I recently purchased the EcoFlow River Pro & there Bifacial 220 watt solar panel to use in our new Multivan. Still not sure thou how I will attack the power distribution throughout the van thou to run the other gadgets like fans & lights ect as they will be from one end & side of the van to the other. I guess a power distribution board/ hub will have to go in somewhere. Ideally it would mimic all the output & input points that the River Pro has so various accessories could be plugged in but what power outlet to use to power the hard wired accessories like L.E.D lights & fans ect has me a bit unsure. Your thoughts on this would be very helpful. Maybe a future video... hint hint ! Cheers team.

Really tempted to buy the big one, not for the van but for the house as a power wall and extend the use of the overnight flexi tariff. Would be good to hear if you've tried it with your Tesla 2kW charger or elec. bikes - can you rescue a Tesla with it and get like 5%? I think they're a good price really, includes the inverter, solar charger & cabling which all adds up with a permanent instal. My concern for use in a van though is easy to steal, but then there's insurance for that.

We've tried the Talaria electric bike battery with no issue in the Delta. Thats pulling around 675 watts. I've tried mind with just about everything now and its not struggled at all. As for security, I guess the simplest option is take it out as its mobile. Alternatively, it has big chunky handles you could easily strap it to the vehicle with a bike chain or something similar

I bought a BLUETTI AC50S 500Wh for the farm and have taken with me in the camper, the thought would I use this over the collection of batteries and controls and inverter and wires all over the place if I was to do the van all again. I think the answer is yes, it would seem to be using it with the exisiting solar on the roof would be easy enough and it would in general work well. I do agree if you had a large van and more off grid this is not the way, but I did try it on a week away running a compressor fridge, lights and charging things, so for me in a VW Transporter, worked a treat.

This looks amazing. Heard of another brand but these look fab. I was thinking of a dual leisure battery setup to replace out single but might just leave as-is and chuck one of these under the seat for all the USB and 240v stuff. Quick question….to run a 240v trickle charge direct to the battery, can we just butcher the cig lighter charger or has it got anything fancy built in to regulate the charge?

The Delta Max would probably cope with one induction area on at full power with fans kicking in but you would likely trigger shutdowns with two on the go unless you had them on a lower setting. Get it rigged up to a solar panel and it could work for you. You could also save some money on your electric bills when you are at home by cooking in the van. Every day would be like holiday!

Ok… it won’t replace existing leisure batteries because most motorhomes are wired up for 12v lighting, heater fans, water pumps etc. The only way it could work as a leisure battery is to plug it in to the electric hookup… so you charge up a battery then output the power as 230v AC, then the motorhome converts the 230v AC back to 12v DC. Loss during every conversion and no inbuilt connectivity to a vehicle split charge system. Only viable as a complete motorhome redesign… good luck persuading the likes of Swift, AutoSleeper, Hymer, Adria etc!

I've just tried the little River with a George Foreman with no problem's. As a guide it would power that for 28 minutes. I also tried a toaster with no issues. That showed 27 minutes starting with 96%. For a kettle you'd want a Delta, I think the River could struggle with some kettles.

@@THQAutomotive yes, and the app is also a benefit of the EcoFlow. The Bluetti uses a LifePo battery so has better number of charge cycles. For the 500ish Watt-hour models they work out slightly cheaper than buying a leisure battery, Victron Orion, shunt, inverter and cabling plus they’re portable for use away from the van as you’ve pointed out.
