Suspense & ESCAPE [remastered]

Agnes plays a (nervous) young office gal who finds a letter on the sidewalk while on her way to work. The letter warns a lady of murder! Agnes tries to track her down, only making thing worse (MUCH worse) for the lady. Great story, great audio quality.

REMINDER! ALWAYS read my program descriptions! More often than not, I'll have some interesting stuff, sometimes some funny anecdotes or other types of useless information. A little about Agnes: She began her voice acting career with Orson Welles and his Mercury Theater, plus she also had a small role in Welles' "Citizen Kane" (the greatest film of all time-if you haven't ever seen it, well, you gotta) Also with Orson (and on Suspense about 20 times) was Joseph Cotten. Inside jokes I've read about from their radio days together (Welles Moorehead and Cotten) were goofy nicknames they made up for each other like Joseph Pickin' Cotten, Agnes the old bagnes, etc. Orson Welles was unafraid to make fun of his widening waist, such as Orson "Swells" or "Smells" Welles. Many on-air pranks were pulled on each other, for example - yanking a guy's pants down while they were broadcasting live, changing out pages in scripts or altering words to something quite different!

The under tow of a perfectly lifeless Individual that parasites on others. The depiction of deaf was very good as there was lifeless function and a brutal trivializing of someone else. All without a weapon this imby will secure the very same precariousness that is from a complete murderer. There is this nerdy want of fantastical of making this dream perfect wonderful to a complete stranger. People die of you have no such power. This Morehead performance made sure to be callous at a most vulnerable point. Indeed I am deaf to my own lonely insensitivity.I don't care who dies when I get caught being the incredible moment. She knew exactly where to ignore she was not all there was. The depiction of anti-social cleavings was very good.

Lauren Stygar You catch on to what the writers and producers were really thinking, although I suspect 95% of average listeners may not pick up on such stuff. I do . . . I suppose that if I sat for two hours thinking about it, I might sometimes provide thoughts such as yours. I'm pleased you're doing it, keep it up. I find your assessments interesting. Like you, I recognize genius in the original creators of stories like this. As always, thanks. - Charlie

Suspense & ESCAPE! Yes! I was a foundling in 1966. I nanny, my Nora, made being humane the priority. There is a vibrancy of life that I was kept in! I only love life and this deed is always done!

Lauren Stygar I was so VERY lucky as a kid. Only 200 yards up the road was a school (one room schoolhouse built in 1865, still standing) the teacher there let me come in after school (I was 4 years old) she helped me learn to read and write and let me look at all the books. My mind was a sponge back then. As a bonus, my mom was also a teacher and she got me all the books I wanted. The only good results were I got to skip kindergarten and half of first grade. I had bad luck after my woderful early years and I had mean teachers after that, who only wanted me to conform to the others and beat my individuality out of me. By 5th grade I hated school. Still, I managed to graduate high school with minimally passing grades at age 16. As always, thanks for your input - Charlie
