Death Star Corridor Diorama for 6" Black Series Figures

Here's how I made my awesome Death Star corridor diorama for my 6" Star Wars Black Series display. This setup relies heavily on the GTP Toys "Spacewalls" which were discontinued a few years ago. The main feature that makes this diorama so good is the light fixture combined with the acrylic floor. It's all very simple actually. If you're planning to build something like this, I would recommend getting 3D printed wall panels, as the Spacewalls are just too hard to find now days. The light fixture is a flat LED ceiling light I bought at Costco a few years ago, and the acrylic sheet I bought on Amazon.

Thank you for showing the process as well. Absolutely loved seeing you actually assemble it. This particular layout is so good, I would probably go with a more permanent build to it, with a light wooden box surround and everything fixed, so the front top part is tidied and the light concealed, but you'd obviously loose the modular aspect and be lugging a great big fixed box with you everywhere!

Thanks David. Yes, I have put some thought into a front panel to hide the top of the light fixture. Just haven't gotten to it yet. The space walls are approx. 9" tall, so that leaves some space at the top of the shelf as you can see.

Thanks Andy! It is pretty simple, but it looks so nice in the display! Lighting is really important for some of these dios. Especially this one with the reflective floor.

The last time I saw you do anything like this was the Endor Bunker and I've now got an 8 foot square diorama shoehorned into my sw room! 😅 Just brilliant, simple ideas that look stunning. The light is particularly effective as well. Your innovation is truly inspiring!!

I am hoping to get someone local to print space walls! Again, so simple to put together! I love the innovation with the lighting panel and 3.75 translucent Emperor! The bounty hunter ESB scene is on my diorama list. But the death star escape scenes have got me intrigued now too! 🤣 Love the video buddy! 🔥 🔥

Thanks Echo! I actually had the black series bounty hunter set up at one time, just using a cardboard backdrop from @cardboardgalaxy. Just don't have room for it right now though. Yeah, I was really happy with how that transluscent emperor worked out. Thanks for watching my friend!

Space Walls are fantastic. I lost money with Tantive diorama too. Man that set up was going to be very special. You are using those walls very well. I had seen glass with the black electrical tape then a light above it. It’s interesting to see you use the electrical tape right to the light. It works well. I got a few doors as my last purchases from GTP. I’m very pleased with what I did get.

Yep, lots of money lost on that Tantive IV preorder. I held out hope for a while, but that money is gone now. As for the tape, I had wanted to build an actual ceiling too, but I ended up trying it direct on the light, and it worked so well, that I just did the whole thing that way. On the shelf, you don't really notice that it is just thin tape.

So that company sold dioramas that are above and beyond anything hasbro could ever dream of for real cheap and than hasbro is selling a cantina for tripple the price man how god auwful.

It was really sad to see GTP toys go under. I really don’t understand why Hasbro hasn’t replicated their Death Star wall panels.
