Death Stranding collectors edition unboxing, Death Stranding is an open world action game developed by Kojima Productions. It is the first game from director Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions after their disbandment from Konami in 2015. It was released for the PlayStation 4 by Sony Interactive Entertainment in November 2019, and is scheduled for release on Microsoft Windows by 505 Games in 2020.

Soo weird looking back on this day! I was awoken by Kim at 5:00 AM to tell me she was pregnant! Then I went and picked up this special edition with a BB unit in it! Surreal!

I'm over 20 hours into it and still in episode 3. Such an addictive game. Most people who trash on it haven't played it. What a ridiculous concept, hating a game without even playing it.

Played it for about 5-6 hours so far and I really like it. I'm very interested to see where the gameplay and story goes. I can see why some people aren't into it, but I kinda appreciate how different and weird it is. In a landscape full of games doing the same thing as everything else, it's refreshing to see something so off the wall where you can honestly say there isn't a game quite like Death Stranding out there currently.

@@jasondp3546 I would pick Death Stranding, but I'll probably check out Outer Worlds when it's cheaper. I'm with @Rosencrantz though. You kinda know what to expect from a game like Outer Worlds. Death Stranding, on the other hand, is feels like its own thing. But go with whichever game appeals to you more. Or buy both, go nuts.

I hate people saying "any baby news?" You dont know what's going on behind the scenes, the upset that can be caused by such a "simple" statement, if they've been trying, and trying, and trying, to get pregnant.

Me and my wife had a baby a year ago after 9 years together, and I was very annoyed by ppl asking that question. It felt too intimate, and we did not have any problems that some ppl may encounter.

If people are having trouble conceiving, if they've gone through countless failed rounds of ivf, if they've gone through miscarriages (early or late), then an "innocent" baby question can be heartbreaking. You or I dont know what anyone else's history is with trying for a baby, it could be they just didn't feel like it up to now, or they've trying all along. It is only their own business, and not worth causing upset over for peoples own curiosity. You can ask, sure. You can also have a bit of consideration for others.

I've been playing for about 9 or 10 hours so far and in almost every way the game feel new. For better and sometimes for worse. I'm just so happy I'm playing this on day one as it really feels like I'm personally discovering new things that games can achieve and not hearing about such things on a retrospective of the game I'm reading 5 years after the game has released. So fascinating!

My BB pod was broken and the baby was disconnected from the pedestal. I took it apart and super glued the baby’s butt back in and we are good as new!

I'm loving the game. I enjoy slow paced games now and then. I'm blown away by the scenery. I even go out of my way to give thumbs up for the things people put up in the world. I haven't yet, but one time I'm going to climb up a mountain with a waterfall get in the water and just float over the edge.

lol, watching this, shipping shuffled around my package a bit. My game box wasn't perfectly staged in the center like it should have been, it was off to the side and I had to shake it out. XD Great video Johnny, I loved your first thoughts, I can't wait to start playing in 3 hours for my livestream. ^_^

Im lost in the story and have no clue what the hell is going on but i couldnt stop playing it today. 8 hour session with it. For me its a breath of fresh air, its almost theraputic to me doing the journeys and delivering cargo and discovering.

The people who are complaining about the game have clearly never played Hideo Kojima games. He has always been primarily focused on story telling, and long cutscenes, and methodical stealth, and combat, and was always more of a slow burn style, and not non stop Rambo running and gunning style games since Metal Gear Solid first started. For us who have played his games see the brilliance of this new game, and is something the gaming industry needed in a day where people just want to play the same regurgitated, reskinned games over, and over. Thank you for this masterpiece, Kojima.

Bit of a smug comment to be honest as I have always loved Metal Gear.. I think most of us fans begin to roll our eyes a bit when Kojima over indulges In his messy and vague story telling. I have no opinion on this game, it simply doesn't interest me.

Been looking at the few of these still available, that aren’t an unobscene amount and then found local stock for the rrp. Haven’t pulled the pin yet though. Only learnt about the game a month ago, but having now played it, I’m obsessed. One thing about this collector’s ed. I wish they included some art prints etc, since the art/beauty of the game is one of the most remarkable aspects of it.

I'm loving it. Difficult games like Nioh, Bloodborne etc can just be stressful and leave me pissed off after a days work. I almost dread playing them after a while. And dont get me started on fifa or nba 2k. But this I can just unplug to, relax, let the story wash over me as I kick back taking it in. Makes me wonder why Kojima doesnt get started on anime or movies. Seems like his talents would find a home there.

Ok, I'm 15 hours in, I absolutely love the concept of the game, the story is tough to keep together, at least for me I might not be smart enough to put it together. Not sure, anyway the gameplay is different, I want to love it but I am struggling....that's all I got for now.

I haven’t followed too much on Death Stranding but I’ll admit when I seen a clip of gameplay I was intrigued by the baby and the special edition is absolutely awesome.

I had my delivered yesterday in the UK and with the packing box I thought wtf it’s huge. After taking a photo of the BB pod with the lights switched on and posting it on Instagram and Facebook, friends where asking WTF is that. Love this collectors edition and game. Both have a unique taste. You either love it or hate it. Typical Hideo Kojima 😀😀😀

Having a 1:1 BB replica is kinda creepy for me, imagine entering the room and got a feeling that that baby is looking at you As for the game itself, I kinda hoping the boss battle is more similar to Shadow of the Collosus, since the game itself has the same alone in the massive teritory experience

I was disappointing when he put the batteries in and all it did was light up. I was hoping that the see through portion of the container turned dark like in the game.
