Death toll in Durban heist shootout rises to 6

The number of people killed in a shoot out with police in Durban has risen to six. Five suspects allegedly robbing a cash-in transit vehicle were shot dead by police. A bystander, shot in the crossfire, died Monday afternoon. A police officer is also fighting for his life in hospital after being shot.

Why do SA thugs have the best cars all the time? I'm sure other countries have more luxury cars per capita than SA but you hardly see criminals in Benzs,Audis and BMWs..are they all stolen or do they actually own some of them from their big heists? I would imagine most modern car owners have GPS tracking in a place like SA..

@@manayesh listen in a lawless place like South Africa anything seems possible that's why I asked,Mexican cartels use their own cars to commit crimes all the time,and from a country with so many high stake armored car robberies it's not far fetched that the perps would be able to afford high end cars on other people names and change up the plates every now and then..crime dynamics and impunity are different in different places..also look at my closing sentence in the initial post,so what they disable the GPS everytime ?please answer that. Im certain they all have GPS trackers in such a place...taking all those things into consideration I asked such a question..

Why is it that the cops always win these battles . They use the same guns as the criminals . An sometimes the criminals got better guns . I think it's poor shooting an not knowing how to get cover an shoot .

To answer your question officers are trained very well in tactics and cover you see many criminals will blind fire or hip fire and its alot harder to flee and shoot behind you accurately but very easy while chasing and usually there more officers then criminals so lot harder to peek and fire as multiple people locked on your location can fire while you have to target someone and fire

These are specialised cops who go through advanced armed and unarmed combat training. They aren't your normal cops that certify documents at a cop shop.
