Too bad it didn't work out. EJ was a fun breath of fresh air for the channel. With the racing, it's certainly no 9 to 5 job. No easy for anyone unless you live and breath racing 24/7 I hope she reads all the comments and knows she will really be missed. I hope guys are careful about the comments they make and keep them positive.

Everyone on here complaining and commenting or speculating needs to stop! Unless you were privy to the details of the conversation between EJ and Tom then no one has a right to comment shoulda coulda wouldas! Or comments insinuating that Tom must not have paid her well enough blah blah! Just stop people! You come across as ignorant and or pervy trying to defend EJ or insult Tom! Life changes it moves on but don’t ever assume you know the details of someone’s actions or decisions when you don’t!

Sad to see that EJ left. I loved her energy. As an employer, it does worry me that she felt that she could not come clean as to why she felt that she had to leave. That's usually a red flag in my book. Not accusing anyone of anything, it's just unusual.

I am new here started fallowing when the Ford recovery popped up in my watch next. I thought EJ was your daughter just got her license and got sent to pick up her first Drag and drive car; and then it was up for a giveaway. All l could think is "Why would you give away your kid's first toy?" Dang

I would say my gut feeling is EJ changed the day the 57 was put up as a give away car. I could tell she really enjoyed that car at sick summer.

My thoughts exactly. We were under the impression that the '57 gasser was to be EJ's car to race with the Sick Team. As soon as Tom announced that the Gasser was to be put up as a giveaway, we never saw her again or in any of the following vids. It's a shame as by reading through the comments, she will be missed by many of us. I wish her luck in her future endeavors.

@@TheFlatlander440 she raced at roadkill in a super fast car. Something happened then. Think it was a wheelie problem. That’s what I remember when she disappeared. I’m guessing the gasser would have been more up her line.

I know you gave her opportunities, but; you gave her Ice Cream then snatched it back from her (57 wagon). No one promised she would be a permanent driver but, reading comments most folks wanted her to be the driver of that car as she picked it up, worked it, drove it, then you took it out from under her, Do you think!

the way you were training her Tom i thought she was your daughter bud you took on alot giving her that kind of exposure just for her to up and quit.... I own my own shop and i have over the years trained several i guess i showed more than i should they also up and quit just to start a shop of thier own and people knowing i trained them they grew fast... best of luck to her i guess but Tom im sorry that happened i guess its a life lesson of sorts .. i watch you guys and dont miss a short good luck fellows and hey ( dont let that Steve Morris guy get on your nerves Lmao i know your the best of friend just saying that for a smile ) have a great time at your next event your biggest fan !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tom, there is nothing like the feeling when someone who you've helped with such a visible opportunity as a national presence only to leave with no real explanation. There's no explanation to us the viewers, if the reason is she got tired of the attention from the comments section or if she actually has/had someone stalking her I doubt that Tom would tell that to the viewers.
