The thing I appreciate most is that they didn't try to hide how big of a stomp this is Also yeah it was a shorter one, but definitely made the most of the fight all things considered Omniman would be very fitting for Mortal kombat

13:09 - In the comics, Butcher’s wife died when the fetus became superpowered and basically destroyed her body. Butcher had to kill it then and there before he was hit by heat vision. The kid growing up and Becca surviving was something different the show did, like gender swapping Stormfront (the Nazi).

In the comics Homelander encounters just 1 person as strong or stronger than him. And immediately gets killed by them because yeah he is not a fighter, he is a super powered bully who never had a challenge thrown his way that was even remotely a real fight. Even the next strongest of the 7 was leagues below him in full strength and he easily killed that one. The only reason Omniman is still alive is that he has fought and killed dozens if not hundreds of other Viltrumites who had the same powers as he did meaning he got to keep living by being the best out of those fighters. He had to actually learn to fight to stay alive.

I was never surprised at all about this outcome. Anyone who knows anything about every superman knockoff homelander is the weakest knock off out of all. All other knockoffs can destroy planets at minimum. Homelander hasn't even shown island level feats at max power.

Except Brightburn, he also doesn't show anything close to island-level feats. At best, Brightburn is shown blasting through big buildings... way weaker than other Superman knockoffs busting planets like nobody's business.

Hell, he probably tears through all of the outworld team except for shao khan and maybe sindel It's when he gets to the high tiers that he gets some competition. As mentioned before, Shao khan, fire God Liu kang and a few others. Plus I feel your underselling Raiden here. Plus yeah, omniman doesn't have much formation based opponents so those would be trouble too

The hydrogen bombs could have killed Homelander. He was way weaker as a kid, but his powers grew as he got older and now he's unkillable by man-made weapons.

@@Asuanmenko3KD Yeah, no, Viltrumites can fight on the Sun and from comics lore, hell only Allen and other Viltrumites can wound each other. Conquest is perfect example. A high yield Hydrogen bomb and Uranium Tipped Bullets are the only means to kill Homelander and any Supe in The Boys Universe. No amount fighting prowess Homelander got, can stand a chance against Omniman.

Everything is always one sided when it comes to Death battles. Literally Vegeta should’ve won against Thor and Homelander is stronger than Superman. It was already confirmed. Homelander would easily beat Omni man.
