The Deathless Legacy official video for ‘Christian Woman’ by Type O Negative marks the 30th anniversary of ‘Bloody Kisses’ and celebrates the memory of Peter Steele, one of the biggest influences of the band.
'Christian Woman' will be included in the special double CD reissue of 'Rituals Of Black Magic', to be released on January 12th.
'Rituals of Black Magic' is the fourth Deathless Legacy, originally released by Scarlet Records in 2018.

Pete Steele and John Kelly once reviewed an EP by a band I was in (in 1997) in Kerrang!, in which they said it was the kind of thing they might enjoy if they were drunk, haha!! Brilliant!

Damn, that was pretty neat. It didn't click for me at first that it was a cover, but I then I was thinking "damn, sounds like a Type O song...heywaitaminute!" Cool cover, and sexy nuns are always appreciated. ;) RIP Peter Steele.

@@poison-ivey Nope, i actually recorded this with my analogic drumset in the same session of my last album mater larvarum. alto Type o Negative recorded a real drumset on this song there is pretty evident cause it's not on a metronome.

I don't think he would.. She cannot reach the low bass tones as he did, and that's essential to this song. This feels more like a parody than a cover to me.

Demonically impressive and imaginatively stupendous! I will now be practicing the vocal style of this cover song, a favorite of mine as the original, to give it a classic ghostly backup. The thing with Type O Negative, is that they did what they did, without excessive effort, and that was the beauty of it..Throw in excessive effort and it all goes away..The other thing was their uniqueness regardless the genre..So that makes them a very difficult band to cover..Untouchable to say the least..Sometimes it's better to let sleeping dogs lie..

i agree i'll never "like" a type o cover no matter how good it is no matter what band it is. I will say the song and video is produced very well but I'm not a fan of the female vocals and the song is cut short to me. The rest of the song is the best part, the guitar solo is absolutely beautiful. Good attempt good quality but it's a miss for me just like everybody else who tried to cover the God, we know as Peter steele it just doesn't work. I'm not trying to be rude or mean this is just my opinion.

Deathless Legacy's cover performance of Christian Woman is unique indeed. Steva really nailed the song with her vocals nicely! Instrumentals are gnarly! 🤘 The music video is impressive. The lighting is all cool (such as the green lights for instance), camera movements are great, and the makeup on steva is spooky good. ×__× Good job to the crew & Deathless Legacy band for making music video cover! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

some haters here but I've been a mega fan of TypeO since 1994. seeing them in concert with Life of Agony that year was life changing. I have no doubt Peter would love this cover. he was humble and loved his fans, just like Josh, Johnny, Kenny, and Sal. This cover sounds great. I really like it.
