Some facts about DayZ currently: 1. Majority are hackers and pre-pubescent kids 2. No-one is "friendly" and they will kill you when they have the opportunity 3. This game is a walking/running simulator Until they implement transportation methods, more survival aspects, and making zombies more deadly and killing them yielding more rewards....this game is just a very slow pace CoD deathmatch

Well, the Performance got better last update and if you are ready to KoS and be KoSed it makes really Fun. It still has the same charme as the mod, so if you're a fan of DayZ: Get it

I don't get why frankie only have 1.6m sub. He deserve a lot more, there are youtubers out there that have like 7 millions or people like pewdiepie who doesn't spend as much time on their video and seem just post for money. Frankie spend time to edit and make it fun and doesn't just post video and pump them out when the contents are getting bad. Frankie deserve like 10 millions sub!

It has totally stalled development-wise. It had so much potential but the "battle royale" and "deathmatch" mindset of gamers these days ultimately killed it off, to the point where a dead server is more fun than a populated one. I play it once or twice a year and uninstall it shortly after.

It didn't go backwards. It's on a new engine now and plays so much better. The high player numbers reflect that.

I don't know if anyone remembers Star Wars Galaxies but they had a great Idea of having everything in their game was user created as in the clothes you wore wear made by a player the armour you wore was built by a player, towns and cities were built by players the whole in game economy was run by players, I really think the standalone would benefit from a system like that.

Original SWG controlled my life back in the day haha! I made friends with a group of people on there and we still keep in touch today.

Connor V Yes used to own the game but got rid of it but now I want it again because of the emulator project

Dwayne Hicks I had heard of the game when it was around all those years ago but never looked further, I have to say the emulator project could finally get me into the game
