A tutorial on how to make a Deathstroke mask out of foam

I have never made a helmet-mask before out of anything, let alone foam, but my son wants to be the Hollow Knight. Watching this had helped me see how it is possible to make such a headpiece without it being uncomfortably heavy. Thank you!

Good demonstration of the inset technique, overall great build. Got me inspired to get back in the shop and try some new stuff!

This was an amazing tutorial. You really inspired me to create my own. And I like how you used drawer liner to help create a carbon fiber look on one side of the mask. You really do some exceptional work man!

Mistah J thank you. I actually learned the carbon fiber trick from another KZfaqr XiengProd. I have everything I’ve built on my Facebook at Atreuh Cosplay if you would like to check them out. I try to take as many pictures during the process to show how I did things.

Loved how you layered the piece so you only used the same foam. You are going to be one of the pros at this foam work. Well done!

going to try to make a red hood using this helmit, except with 2 eyes and painted red. i feel like the look of the side with the eye would make the coolest red hood. love the accent cuts tip, makes it look great. wish me luck

Wonderful job. I want to ask you, how you did the two templates? How I could make it?
@AtreuhTR8 жыл бұрын
I made it by putting a bag over a styrofoam head then duct taping it. Then i drew the lines, cut it out and traced them onto poster board. The first templates came out too small and kinda crooked, so ice modified them to what they are now. I posted a picture of the Templates i use on my Facebook page at Atreuh Cosplay

Hello. For the mask, deathstroke no layout drawing details. It is not clear what is the size of the part. It is possible to layout all the missing parts of the costume and mask?

Hello. In the video about the creation of costume comic book hero, destroy you do not have all the details correspond to those proposed in the drawn layout. Lacks detail on his hands and partly on his feet. Is it possible to get them?

u should put the mask on to show how it fits on the face. n yeah a template would be nice to include were going to u for the DIY idea n were expecting u to do most of the leg work but other that vid was good I was nervous 1st time to still do at times ... if ur vid is to short make it longer so you have more time to explain each detail jus suggestion. oh n thks NVR thought of using foam to make masks. ..

Cool vid man, I'm just getting into this so it's cool to see how well yours came out even though you've not been doing it all that long. Question, does it fit your head well or do you have to add pieces inside to keep it from moving around?
@AtreuhTR7 жыл бұрын
Keith Longo this one was kinda loose but not to where it would bounce when I walked around. It sat on my head fine and was easy to remove without yanking on my ears
@indradipmajumder7 жыл бұрын

Amazing job, you made it look really simple! Will definitely try building my firstg foam helmet soon! I was wondering if you have any tips on what material I could use to cover eyes in a mask like this. I've created a couple of masks where I needed something to blacken the eyes holes. Pantyhose is not working because my eyelashes keep touching it and I don't like the look, so I used an airsoft mask as a donor for some metal meshlike stuff, but it is really hard to reshape the donor parts to the shape I need for my mask. Any tips on some mesh-like material which is flexible enough to reshape but sturdy enough so it will keep its form?

I noticed that on your channel you use a different template than let's make stuff. I tried making a helmet the way he did, but the center line ended up being too far to the right, and it ended up looking awful... Could you Pleeeease make a video about how you made your templates? I think it would help me a lot...
