Written just as the global lockdown began in March 2020, 'Grey Everlasting' is an album of diversity and depth. While the band’s clean vocal delivery set to the backdrop of unyielding dark metal remains ever-present, some new wrinkles are added to Deathwhite’s sound. Extreme metal elements - a reference to the band’s musical background - as well as heavy keyboard orchestration have been brought to the fore. The album also treads more atmospheric paths while staying true to Deathwhite’s melodic underpinnings.
'Grey Everlasting' is due on June 10, 2022 via Season of Mist!

What an exhilarating pleasure it's been to witness the evolution of Deathwhite's sound. I found these guys right after For A Black Tomorrow was released, via Spotfiy recommending me newly dropped albums. I was blown away by it. Then Grave Image came out. What a melancholy and gothic transformation. Such emotion and spectacular song writing. This album gives me those same sensations. Their tuning dropped down an extra step and it is super heavy on the gothic vibe. The simple 3 note pattern at 03:06 sets the tone for the rest of this album in a way that makes you realize what you're in for. This album is tops. The tone, atmosphere, and song writing are outstanding from start to finish. Well done, gentlemen!

Well that was a journey. Been following Deathwhite for a few years now and they seem to just get better and more refined with every release. What really has caught my attention is just how incredible the drumming is. Maybe it was intentional or not, but it seems like there was more emphasis put on the drums in this album, also I ❤️ mid tempo blast beats. I am really looking forward to getting the lyrics. Was able to make out some of them, but I really am excited to read what these songs are about. Halfway through 2022 and I'm pretty confident I've found my #1 album of the year.

1 month later and 17:48 still gives me goosebumps. So does 21:49. It's the small, melodic stuff they do that really makes you *feel* what they've written, not just hear it. Excellent work, Deathwhite.

Album is mastered at too low of a volume. I have to crank my car stereo to get it the same volume as Grave Image.

What the hell! Their lead singer literally sounds like a carbon copy of Marco Benevento (The Foreshadowing). Had to do research to make sure it wasn't!
