@@davidtaliai996 I mean, dude's literally called that. I still have him as a top 5 straight rapper. In my opinion, he is the best overall artist, in hip hop specifically. His range of ability has never really been matched by one man on the same level. IMO. He's done some great producing, had his own style(s), plays multiple instruments better than your average player, and the dude fuckin played Jimi Hendrix. A one of a kind artist, imo. And he's not even in my Number 1 spot, lol.

But he’s not underrated. So many people think he’s one of the greats. However, there is no comparison between Wayne and Jay as men, in business, or in hip hop. I’m not certain about things done in the community by Wayne, but I bet he may come through for his N.O. People… I’d hope.

2Pac is the GOAT. He might not have been the best lyrically but he made the best songs. When it was time to kick a freestyle he would spit off the dome not written rhymes. He was a better live performance not just standing in 1 place making hand gestures. He had music that your kids could feel all the way to grandma and grandpa. He was the total package.

That's nuts. He has AT LEAST 3. Illmatic, It Was Written and Stillmatic shouldn't really be a debate as classics. God's Son and Lost Tapes are in the conversation. Then he has really underrated works like Untitled and Street's Disciple that IMO are borderline classics when you really look at the content he was dealing with, both those albums are a decade ahead of their time.

@Bhargav Chavda they're top 2 when it comes to making timeless, quality hip-hop. They were able to adapt into the new era better than most rappers of their era and when it comes to having the complete package of beats, rhymes, flow, etc. and I can't think of many who could compete when you talk about their overall volumes of work. You can argue about who is more technical and uses more metaphors, but in the grand scheme of things, those two are meaningless when talking about the greatest overall.

Illmatic, God's Son, Stillmatic, It was Written is all Classics. Lost tapes was the sleeper album, life is good is very dope. Nasir is very dope as well. Lyrically, Jay not seeing Nas, Lupe, or Black thought. B/c he is so successful with business ventures, his impact, and his wife he is elevated. He is definitely in my top 10 and Is on of the Greatest, but not better than those guys.
