This is the footage of a debate between Dr. James White and Abdullah Kunde on the subject of how someone can have peace with God. This debate was held in Sydney, Australia, some time ago and we recently discovered this "lost" footage. Dr. James White is with Alpha and Omega Ministries (aomin.org). How can a person be saved? Does the Gospel answer the question about how a person can be reconciled with God and have peace with God or is the message from Muhammad in the Quran the answer? If we have the grateful humility needed to be a pacifist vegetarian with no more wealth than the poor, than the indwelling Holy Spirit will produce our faith, our trust and our good works. Otherwise, what we have is all the wealth that our brains and sex appeal can muster.

If muslims say that Jesus was a prophet. And Jesus says he is the eternal one, but Islam doesnt believe him, then they are calling him a liar. If someone is a liar why would you believe anything they say? Especially enough of what they say to call them a prophet? How do you get to pick and choose what you believe when your "prophets" speak? Should you not believe him fully or not at all? Serious question not meant to offend.... I wont even respond to the answers i just genuinely want to know why you would hear the prophecy of someone you deem a liar.

@@johnnytag007 Hi. You have to consider the context. Rom 5:1 is Paul's letter to the Romans where one the is teaching about how to be in good or righteous standing with God and that is through faith in Christ's person and work: living a sinless, obedient life, and offering his life upon a cross for the forgiveness of our sins.

@@johnnytag007 Jesus speaks regarding the effect his message will have on the hearers. The sword in this case, signifies judgment; his spoken word or teachings will reveal the hearts of men and judge their conduct. Likewise, his words will bring division and even strife amongst people; they will separate his sheep from the goats.

@@johnnytag007 Jesus restores our peace with God when we accept and respond in faith to his message: the good news that God became flesh, dwelt amongst us, carried our sins upon a cross, resurrected on the third day for his exaltation and our salvation.

He Himself is our Peace.The Word of God is our Peace.The Cross is our Peace.He has made Peace a possibility between depravity and The Holy God.He has torn down the dividing wall of hostility between corrupt man and The Incorruptible God.He is Peace.His message is Peace.His purpose was to bring glory to God by reconciling two natures.Making them a new nature in and through Him alone.

Ohh really??? Why you think Jesus (pbuh) on his 2nd coming chase all the Christians who call him GOD and LORD??? MATTHEW 7:22 "Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!" P/S: Only Christians call Jesus (pbuh) God and Lord.

Kunde's answer at 1:39:14 sums up the Muslim position - through obfuscation and subterfuge, he simply refuses to apply the same principles of interpretation to the Bible that he demands of the Qur'an. From 1:39:44 on, it would appear that if any unorthodox interpretation of the Bible can be given, no matter how absurd, then the Bible is automatically suspect - that is the Muslim position, and that sickens me.

I find 1 thing Outlandishly "Amazing" & Contradictory @ 1:08:79 the statement on how it is not up to me to question , So what about all the things that Muslims question that come from the "Holy Bible" that Allah told them to follow & How Allah told the Muslims to ask the people of the "Holy Bible" . So many things the Muslims simply say are wrong but have ZERO basis even coming from their own writing in the "Quran" I would like to know who & how it is decided what they should follow from the "Holy Bible & What not to Follow , I've watched TONS of debates & have seen Muslim Scholars have such different views , i.e. some follow certain Hadiths & some say the hadiths are not important & have NO value whatsoever , I have read the "Quran" & IMO the reasons there is so much confusion is because the "Quran" is a book that has stories that have been patched together & the stories have no beginning & no end , there are stories that seem like they start in the middle & still have no end , If the Muslims cant make sense of the "quran' & ignore Hadith , What & How does this Faith have any facts of historic or holy values to grasp onto in a logical sense or holy sense . PLEASE Answer this , I know muslims pray 5 times a day & we know why but originally it was to be 50 times until it was questioned & gotten down to 5 times & that was because Moses said 50 times was too much so questioning Allah is in the Quran according to the "Quran" itself . I am NOT trying to BASH Muslims here I just would like clarification , May GOD Bless ALL in Jesus "HOLY" Name !

Christian (most of them)think Muslims worship Mohammad ,peace be upon him,like they worship Jesus ,peace be upon him ,and Quran is like Bible just stories and biography. Correct:Mohammad ,peace be upon him, is a messenger and prophet and Quran is literally the word of God not a one word from human delivered by the Angel Gabriel, peace be upon him.

Yep I noticed this as well. He talks about how Islam doesn't need any mediator, yet there are hadiths where Muhammad states how he hopes to be an intercessor between Allah & Muslims. 😳

SD sc0rch, because you are Commanded to Love your enemies, you are Commanded to preach the Gospel, people are lost and you should care. Are you scared, or hateful? Ceryainly, we have no fear of a comparison between CHRIST and Muhammad/Christianity and Islam (nor are we afraid that people will be converted to Islam through this), and we Love them! GOD'S Holy Word will go out and accomplish all HE Put It Out To Do.

I find that if you listen and understand the mindset of the majority, there is a higher chance that you will actually have a meaningful conversation to that majority. If not then its almost always a guarantee that you will just be talking to a wall.

If you are a Christian, a good first reason might be found in 2 Corinthians 10. If we are called to destroy objections and arguments made against God, that implies we are engaging with these objections and speaking directly to them. 1 Peter 3 is another good one. If we are supposed to give a defense to anyone who asks us, that implies we've listened to their question so we can answer it.

I'm constantly confused by Calvinism's denial of free will. How can one be condemned for a lack of righteousness which they never had the ability to obtain? It would make a lot more sense to say that man does have free will, it's just that they freely choose to rebel against God almost always. Also, Jesus said he will give each according to what he has done, and that some will be called "the least in the kingdom of heaven." This and a number of other passages clearly suggest that there is inequality and different levels of treasures stored up for people in heaven

Individual 1 Calvinism is a complete, chaotic, without a doubt, heretical teaching. It limits the Atonement of the Lord, it excludes a vast majority of the WHOSOEVER that Jesus spoke to for His salvation and makes God out to be a liar. It is wicked.

MLuff I wouldn't go nearly so far as to say calvinism is heretical. There are a number of verses that seem to be, at least on the surface, quite clearly calvinistic, such as Jesus' statement that no one can come to him unless the Father draws them. I wouldn't be so quick to condemn people like James White as heretics. They do good work and emphasize God's glory in a way that non-calvinists often do not. I really enjoy listening to Dr. White. He has produced much good fruit with his public debates, podcast, and writings, and this is coming from someone who doesnt label himself as a calvinist. I might add that Dr. Michael Brown is a good friend of his and considers White a brother in the Lord, and I don't think you would declare him a heretic... I would urge you to be more open to non-foundational disagreements amongst the Christian community. Theological disagreements are common and no christians's theology is perfect

Individual 1 Ok. How about I hate Calvinism? Any teaching that teaches God has an elected class of people who are chosen and there’s no need to witness to the lost is a teaching I despise, and is unbiblical.

MLuff 1611 seeing your a king james only by your name your already a wacko to most. Calvanisms view of atonement is not limited, that's an absurdity. Calvanism teaches the atonement SAVES, you and your theology teaches the atonement makes you savable....vast difference. You obviously do not know what you critique, study more before u make such a foolish comment.
