Please don't be sad about it anymore, the brother has completed his journey just like our Lord himself finished at 33 years of age. Nabeel left an endurable mark on this world in just a short time. The Holy Spirit will continue to use his legacy to reach out to many lost souls and Muslims to bring them to Himself. Now we still here must continue the race carrying the touch of Christ forward and finish our race too and surely we will because He has called us and chosen us for this purpose and grace is available for us to achieve it. We will see Nabeel and all the saints in the day of resurrection. JESUS IS LORD and He will come back to receive us unto Himself soon and very soon in rapture. Amen 🙏🏾 Maranatha!!!

After reading into Yahya’s conversion from Roman Catholicism to Shia Islam and contrasting it with Nabeel’s conversion to “mere” Christianity, I remain intellectually unimpressed to say the least. Nabeel spent 5 years as a devout Muslim adult trained in the apologetics of Islam trying to debunk Christianity. He then applied that same dosage of skepticism to his own Islamic presuppositions to realise that the apologetic he was formed in was not as intellectually stable as he was led to believe. In comparison, Yahya didn’t spend more than a few flimsy weeks as a troubled teenager studying Catholic doctrine before dismissing it out of hand and converting to shia Islam because it “felt” right. I honestly can’t take any man seriously who concluded the doctrines that were formulated, meditated upon, and written about for thousands of years were wrong because of his 2 week long dibble dabble into Catholic theology and bible study.

You know something, and it may sound dumb but this morning I just learned Nabeel had passed away. No matter what, his message has resonated me and the teachings of Christianity. That said I've been raised "Christian" but for years I wasn't as knowledgeable till now, and still learning at at the age of 45. I had what I could say sort of an epiphany, too real to ignore a few years back. I had some knowledge back then but nothing to substantiate why I believed in God and Jesus. As years went on, praying even more and asking for wisdom, you will uncover information and evidence that normally doesn't see the shed of light. I will say thats the Holy Spirit working in you. The scriptures are very strong and if you give the chance by opening up and asking the Lord to help you out, have patience. Patience is the key and it was the one thing I needed to learn as I wasn't a very patient person before.

@@efdawahfan 103After these, We sent Moses to Pharaoh and his leading supporters with Our signs, but they rejected them. See the fate of those who spread corruption. 104Moses said, ‘Pharaoh, I am a messenger from the Lord of all the Worlds, 105duty-bound to say nothing about God but the truth, and I have brought you a clear sign from your Lord. Let the Children of Israel go with me.’ 106He said, ‘Produce this sign you have brought, if you are telling the truth.’ 107So Moses threw his staff and-lo and behold!-it was a snake, clear to all, 108and then he pulled out his hand and-lo and behold!-it was white for all to see. 109The leaders among Pharaoh’s people said, ‘This man is a learned sorcerer! 110He means to drive you out of your land!’ Pharaoh said, ‘What do you suggest?’ 111They said, ‘Delay him and his brother for a while, and send messengers to all the cities 112to summon every learned sorcerer to you.’ 113The sorcerers came to Pharaoh and said, ‘Shall we be rewarded if we win?’ 114and he replied, ‘Yes, and you will join my inner court.’ 115So they said, ‘Moses, will you throw first or shall we?’ 116He said, ‘You throw,’ and they did, casting a spell on people’s eyes, striking fear into them, and bringing about great sorcery. 117Then We inspired Moses, ‘Throw your staff,’ and-lo and behold!-it devoured their fakery. 118The truth was confirmed and what they had produced came to nothing: 119they were defeated there and became utterly humiliated. 120The sorcerers fell to their knees 121and said, ‘We believe in the Lord of the Worlds, 122the Lord of Moses and Aaron!’ 123but Pharaoh said, ‘How dare you believe in Him before I have given you permission? What I understood from this conversation is that "Love" is not a lone character, it means relationship. If God is love, I used to wonder how can it be? Because Love means being in close and intimate relationship with the other, it needs to flow-out. Otherwise it sounds narcissistic. Only in the "triune God" the concept of love makes sense to me now. So glad I listened to this conversation🤗

Awesome conversation so far and I appreciate both men's perspectives, though I have to point out that saying, "I didn't come prepared," is not an argument (around 25:20). It's strange to me that Yahya says it as though it is an indictment of Nabeel's argument rather than a concession. Edit: I'm actually really bothered by Yahya claiming that Nabeel was "name-dropping," when Nabeel was literally citing his arguments. Nabeel made actual arguments and then cited where they came from. Yahya responded by name-dropping books without explaining any of the arguments, while accusing Nabeel of name-dropping. wut

I'm slightly concerned that Yahya didn't do due diligence - a year is not a long time to examine, Catholicism, Protestantism, Judaism and Islam. The christians he spoke to don't appear to be very well read or indeed informed. Any Protestant who describes the Pope as the antiChrist, would not be someone I'd approach for a rational impression of Christianity.

The Key for me is God's Love for humanity. This is expressed in so many different ways throughout the Biblical narrative. Freedom from slavery, The first commandment to Love The Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might and to love your neighbor as yourself . Look after the widow and the orphan . Ultimately it is expressed in God's Son on the cross at Calvary. Nabeel expressed this very simply and illustrated how it is at the core of his belief. God commands us to love Him because he first loved us. Thank you Nabeel, your message will continue to resonate and will, I believe, help bring people of all faiths under the umbrella of God's Love . Muslims have commented here that the Ahmadi sect of Islam is outside of orthodoxy and it's followers not true Muslims thus making Nabeel's conversion to Christ somehow useless. But his opponent here Yaya, was raised a Catholic, which many Christians consider also not to be biblical and thus many Christians do not consider Catholics to be truly Christian. Does that make his conversion to Islam also useless? To me that makes them both equal. They came out of a tradition of faith that they grew up with and through investigation of some sort came to understand that another Faith was more true. It's common to hear of Muslim converts from Catholicism, which just confirms what many Protestants feel: that the Catholic Church does a poor job of teaching from the Bible the real core tenants of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and add quite a few things that scriptures never taught.

As a Christian my audacity to proudly proclaim my eternal security and place in the body of Christ comes directly from the true word of God, the holy Scriptures of God. Eternal security in Jesus Christ!☺️ Jesus payed the price for (ALL MY SIN) at the moment of my “salvation” 🥰 there is no sin left for me to commit that can cause me to lose it. There is one unforgivable sin and that’s blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, and somebody who has received salvation cannot commit blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. So yes once saved always saved praise God my salvation is not in my own hands because if it were I would surely lose it The very same way I earned the wages of death. Romans 5:12 Death Through Adam, Life Through Christ 12 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned- Eternal life was once in the hands of man remember Adam and eve? Even in their perfected state because they were not born spiritually dead, inheriting original sin as we do, they still sinned and fell. To believe that God Would go through everything that he has for humanity in sending his son, his only son to die for us horribly on the cross to then put that great salvation that his son earned, back into the same hands of his creation that lost in the first place would be a mistake that God cannot make, as he makes no mistakes. Eternal security😉 Ephesians 4:30 ► And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were (sealed) for the day of redemption. Who redeems us? 🤔 yes, Christ Jesus, so the seal on our salvation can only be opened and redeemed by Christ. We cannot open the seal of our salvation as to lose it. That’s the point of the verse saying “ sealed,’ why bother sealing it if some sin we commit can just open and undo it ? John 6:37 ► All those the Father gives me (will come to me) and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. (Will come to me) , seems pretty sure doesn’t he. 😊. The verse doesn’t say all that the father gives me will come to me unless they somehow mess up and commit some sin that causes them to lose their salvation. ☺️🙏🏼 and praise God for that. One more ..🤓 Jude 24 King James Version 24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you (faultless )before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, The scripture says we have peace with God through Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 5:1-2 Therefore, we have peace with God 5 Therefore, since we have been made righteous through his faithfulness,[a] we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 We have access by faith into this grace in which we stand through him, and we boast in the hope of God’s glory. How can we have peace with God if we can commit some sin that could cause the loss of salvation. The scriptures says God knows the beginning from the end. So he knows all the sin I will ever commit in my life, yet the Bible says I have peace with God by faith in Christ because of the imputed righteousness of Christ at the moment of my salvation. So knowing that God forgave all my sin past present and future at salvation I have peace with the God that can see all the sin I will still commit after salvation, yet says I have peace with him anyway because of the faith he gave me in Christ Jesus our Lord. 🙌 2 Timothy 2:13 if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself. Himself🤔 yes because the Holy Spirit of God is in us remember. And will never leave us. We may grieve him or quench him to the point he will not guide us but as scripture says, all that the father gives me will come to me, and I will NEVER drive him away. Now if you have some scripture that seems to teach otherwise, please send it friend and I will show you how it doesn’t.😊. God bless🙏🏼🕊

I don't get what makes the Trinity so hard to understand. You only need two dimensions of Time to accomplish it..Why the story of redemption and atonement works. One is God. Then God becomes Flesh. Then he sacrificed himself for Humanity. Then arose in a new Body. One that is not subject to decay anymore. Why Leonardo da Vinci got it right. As it's outside Space\Time. Why it has lasted for over 2000 years. As Jesus didn't just proclaim he was God. He showed them that he had the power to overcome Death..No other religion comes close to it.

It is already set in their heart that they choose to deceive, even after the revelation of Allah (or God) has come down to them. The Qur'an says that God promises to preserve the Remembrance in Surah 15, Verse 9. Also we see that the Torah and Gospel were referred to as Remembrance and this is supported by appealing to Surah 16:43, 21:7, 21:48, 21:105 and 40:53-54. Therefore, Surah 15:9 is indirectly, yet clearly stating that the Torah and Gospel have also been preserved. Muslims often claim that the Gospel has been corrupted. The Qur’an, however, tells us that the Gospel is the Word of Allah, and that no one can corrupt Allah’s Word: Qur’an 3:3-He has revealed to you the Book with truth, verifying that which is before it, and He revealed the Torah and the Gospel aforetime, a guidance for the people, and He sent the Qur’an. Qur’an 6:115-The word of thy Lord doth find its fulfillment in truth and in justice: None can change His words: for He is the one who heareth and knoweth all. Qur’an 18:27-And recite what has been revealed to you of the Book of your Lord, there is none who can alter His words; and you shall not find any refuge besides Him. Muslims, knowing that the Bible is said to be preserved by Allah, listen to Jesus‘s words to you that Allah has preserved from corruption. Matthew 11:28-30 28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” John 6:30-37 30 Therefore they said to Him, “What sign will You perform then, that we may see it and believe You? What work will You do? 31 Our fathers ate the manna in the desert; as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’ ” 32 Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” 34 Then they said to Him, “Lord, give us this bread always.” 35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. 36 But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe. 37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. John 10:30 I and the father are one. John 14:6 and Jesus replied I am the way, the truth, and the life and no man comes unto the father but by me. Lastly.. 1 John 2:23 “Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.” 🙏🏼🕊🫂 JESUS IS GOD🕊

Trinity is one of the fundamental belief in Christianity, yet no where in the bible does this word is mentioned. Jesus neither said he was God nor asked to be worshipped or his mother either. The Bible talks about Jesus from the time he started his ministry but does not tell us about his life before that. If someone uses a kitchen knife or a gun to kill your father, would you like to walk with a replica of that weapon hanging in your neck? How on earth can God hold us responsible for the supposedly sin committed by our very first parents Adam and Eve? How on earth can God take a revenge of someone else's wrong doing from an innocent person? This goes against the justice of God. Was the new testament written by Jesus himself or during his time or through his command? Is there a single line in the bible under the title of "Gospel According to Jesus"? The Bible tells us that Jesus was circumcised, he never ate pork and that he observed sabbath on Saturday. But people who claim to follow Jesus do none of these. If anything, Muslims are more closer to Jesus than the Christians. There are many more questions about bible and Christianity one needs to ponder on.

No one has ever claimed that the term "trinity" is in scripture. It is however so clear through the very terms God himself refers to himself that he is "Echad", One God, declaring himself to be made up of of "parts". Not onve referring to himself as "Yachid" which is singular one ( such a rock ); while "Echad" refers to a Singular item made of parts ( such as a cellphone or car ). It is most interesting to try describe the creator God, outside of space and time, in human contextual terms.
@nathanielhanna7153
@nathanielhanna7153 3 жыл бұрын
Salam, Allow me to go through your points one by one: The exact word 'trinity' is not found in the bible, correct, but that does not mean that the doctrine is not abundantly clear. There are many passages that affirm this doctrine which is why it is a fundamental belief. Let me know if you need the passages and I can go through them with you. Once again, even though Jesus may not have said the exact phrase 'worship me' does not mean that we should not worship him as God. And yes, Jesus made many God claims in the bible and if you read the gospels it would be abundantly clear that he claims to be God (let me know if you want me to point you to specific verses). Also, worshiping Mary is blasphemy Yes the bible does talk about his life before his ministry. Read the first 2 chapters of Luke We wear a cross because it reminds us of what Christ did for us on the cross so that it is in the forefront of our minds. You must remember that Jesus conquered the cross after he came back to life and him dying on the cross is the pinnacle of his ministry and God's plan of salvation. God holds us accountable for the sins that WE commit against him. We started sinning when we were children and we still do it as adults. There is not a single human (besides Jesus) who has not sinned (Catholics say Mary has not sinned but I disagree with that). Any sin or disobedience according to God is enough to be judged to be separated from him eternally. After all, how can a human who is even slightly blemished stand in paradise with the one holy God. This next question is a follow on from the last one. We have been separated from God and the only way is for our sins to be transferred away on a sacrifice. For there to be no punishment for sins would be the opposite of justice. This is what happened in the old testament, the Jews sacrificed unblemished animals to cover their sins in the eyes of God. But these sacrifices were not good enough. This is why Jesus came down to be our sacrifice. Because he is perfect he is the ONLY one who can take on the sins of the world. Our sins were transferred to him and we were in turn made perfectly clean in God's eyes. This is the only JUST way for God to forgive our sins completely. To suggest that we could somehow make ourselves good enough for God disregards the fact that he is perfectly holy and evil cannot stand in heaven with him. My question to you is what happened to the Jewish animal sacrifices? If Islam is a continuation of Judaism it should have atonement in it. Judaism sacrificed animals, Christians have Jesus as the once-for all sacrifice, but where is it in Islam? Did God just forget it? Not a single word of the bible was written by Jesus himself. Instead, the 4 gospels (books about Jesus' life) were written by two of his disciples (Matthew and John) and two people who heard from other disciples (Mark and Luke). These people transcribed Jesus' words and actions which we can read today. I already answered this, no As a Jew, Jesus was circumcised and never ate pork, correct. (observing the sabbath has its own story which I won't go into) The reason that some Christians aren't circumcised is well documented and if you want to look it up you can quite easily (it is all in the bible). As for eating pork and other dietary restrictions, Jesus said that it is not what goes into a man that makes them uncelean, but what comes out. Paul writes extensively on this if you want to look it up. No, Muslims are not closer to Jesus that Christians and to suggest so is completely wrong. There are good biblical reasons for Christian practice and we follow what Jesus taught and prophesied very carefully. For example, he prophesied that he would die and be raised again on the third day (Matthew 16:21 and John 2:18-22) If there are any further questions, just ask :) If any of these questions are inadequate or you still have a problem just let me know and I would be happy to go over and answer whatever you want. P.S. I notice that several of these questions are identical to those asked be people such as Zakir Naik and Ahmed Deedat. I just want to say that they use very deceptive language to seem like they are 100% correct. For example the requirement of Jesus directly saying 'worship me', even though it is abundantly clear to anyone who reads the bible that we are to worship him, Jesus himself does not say those exact words.

57 So the Jews said to him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?”[b] 58 Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.” Anyone who knows anything about the Hebrew religion, you claim the "I am" you are referring to God. When Moses asked Gods name, God responded "I am, that I am". this a blunt straight forward evidence Jesus called himself God.

Christianity as “all I have to do now is sit back and love God” is not accurate. We are called to good works rigorously by the Lord Jesus, St Paul, St Peter, St James, St John, etc. We may, in faith, rest in His redemption, but we are redeemed to grown in oneness with Him in the Spirit - constant repentance. If Muhammed said “Lord, have mercy!” 70x daily, for a Christian it ought to be in every breath.

That’s right Usman and Tracey. It’s not just sitting back and loving God. In Christianity, after that the bible says “those who love me will obey my commands”. That’s not just the Ten Commandments, neither is it a set of rules of things we have to do religiously. Doing that does not earn us salvation. Doing good works becomes a natural attribute of a believer who has accepted the Holy Spirit which means it’s not by our doing, but God who helps us be more kind and loving to bring more people to him, not because doing that makes us better to Him. He loves us unconditionally already.

The Prophet not only said that his successor was Ali, but also said that he will have 12 successors, all of whom would be from the Quraysh and Bani Haashim. All of the Muslims who accepted this and disagreed with the decision at Saqeefa were technically Twelver Shia's. There are dozens of famous companions who belong to this group as well as many more from the succeeding generations. Historians did not apply the term 'Shi'a' until after Imam 'Ali's caliphate, but it is clear from reliable ahaadith that those Muslims who supported the leadership of the Prophet's household were known as Shi'as (ie true 'followers' of the Prophet) from the earliest Islamic period. The Zaydis came later as a breakaway group from the Twelvers, due to rejecting the leadership of the 5th Imam. Sunni Islam, by contrast, had no identity in the early period of Islam, hence why no early Muslim is known as a 'Sunni' -the whole concept of 'Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jamaah' was created gradually, with its early notions in the Umayyad period, but only properly constructed and consolidated in the Abbasid and Seljuk period.

CHRISTIAN DOCTRINE FOUNDED IN GRECO-ROMAN MYTHOLOGY AND PHILOSOPHY: According to Christian doctrine, Jesus was the result of the deity impregnating a married virgin whose deity sired son was tortured to death by his divine sire so this son could become a cursed scapegoat. Mary was betrothed/married to Joseph and Joseph was the father of Jesus according to synoptic gospels of Matthew and Luke. Betrothal in Judaism is marriage. Betrothal is the first part of the two part process of Jewish marriage, which creates the legal relationship without the mutual obligations. In Hebrew it is called: kuddushin (sanctification). Kiddushin is far more binding than an engagement as we understand the term in modern English. Once kiddushin is complete the women is legally the wife of the man. The relationship created by kiddushin can only be dissolved by death or divorce. However the spouses do not live together at the time of the kiddushin, and the mutual obligations created by the marital relationship do not take effect until the nisuin is complete. The nisuin (elevation) finalizes the marriage process. The husband brings the wife into his home where they begin their married life together. According to the gospel of John, Jesus was the 'only begotten son' of the deity (John 1:14, 18; 3:16, 18; 1 John 4:9). According to the Merriam Webster Dictionary beget means : "to procreate as the father : SIRE" According to this dictionary, beget means: "typically of a man, sometimes of a man and a woman, to bring (a child) into existence by the process of reproduction." Mary was the married virgin upon whom the deity sired a son by overshadowing her according to the Gospel of Luke 1:35. This scene is a reflection of Zeus' impregnation of the virgin Danae upon whom he begot the demigod Perseus. Jesus as the 'first born of God' derives from Philo of Alexandria's Logos who was called by Philo "the first-born of God." This philosophy is repeated in Colossians 1:15-20 which says that Jesus is " is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation." Since, according to Paul, Jesus existed before creation, then his sire was God. So, the Greco-Roman idea of a deity impregnating a married virgin to beget a son he planned to torture in order for that son to become a cursed scape goat makes sense to Christians? And the personification of Philo of Alexandria's Platonic demiruge/Logos in the person of the Palestinian prophet, Jesus, also makes sense? So, Christians accept that Christianity is founded in Greek mythology and the Platonic philosophy of Philo of Alexandria and not in the Torah or Tanakh. One wonders why they bother reading the Bible at all. Homer's tales of Greek heroes, gods and demigods would be more in line with their doctrines than the books attributed to the Old Testament prophets.

If Allah forgives sin without atonement then he is NOT God because God is righteous. Forgiving sin without atonement is unrighteousness. By the atonement work of Jesus Christ, God can forgive us AND remain righteous. That's why Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to TRUE forgiveness of sin. I pray with all my heart and spirit, that Yahya Seymour realizes that there is NO other salvation then the salvation of THE LORD, Yeshua (Meaning salvation) the Christ that is made possible by the atonement through Yeshua (Jesus) Christ. From the beginning of time, people who believe in God have believed in HIS Salvation (Yeshua) and have been saved by their belief in Yeshua before He was manifested as a PERSON (while still BEING God) to fulfill the work of atonement. 2022 years ago, the Salvation (Yeshua) walked the earth (John 1:14 / And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.) And even then many did not recognize Him (John 1:10-13 / 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God). Therefor I pray for Yahya Seymour and EVERY other human being that does not believe, that they may believe in His name, so that He becomes their Yeshua(meaning Salvation)! And I pray for all people who do not understand the "trinity" that they may come to understand that God is 1 in BEING, and 3 in PERSON. So all 3 persons are the same BEING (that's why they are 1 and why each is His own PERSON but still the same BEING > GOD). I thank Nabeel for everything that he has shared and done on this world and my heart rejoices that he is right now in the kingdom of God, with our LORD and our GOD, praising our LORD and our GOD! Nabeel's argument is fallacious. He is basing it on people assigning Godhood to Prophet Christ and then making the claim that no one disclaimed it. What a poor argument. People are people - fallible creatures. I don't base my faith on what people say or don't.. Why should anyone go by hearsay. I don't go by what people say for me to accept Islam. I read the Quran, it is the word of God, not man. Every letter in it. And reading the Quran establishes that fact, and convinced me, not what X or Y or Z said. The Bible is a collection of different people's versions over years and years. It has a motley of contradictions and I don't mean just metaphorical contradictions, real contradictions that no one can explain. Then so called scholars over centuries (300 years according to David Wood) deduced the trinity. (you can see his claim in his debate with Muhammad Najib) There is nothing in the Bible for an outsider who has a sane mind, with even basic intellectual competence to come to the conclusion that there is any sort of Trinity. That just proves my point, that people (or so called scholars) are making that claim, not Jesus. If I make any claim about Islam verbatim, I make it because God has in the Quran, not because any scholar sees fit to give it a wild interpretation or misinterpretation or extrapolation.

You don't understand what the word "deduce" means. Deducing something doesn't mean someone made up an idea or concept out of thin air. It means they've watched and observed some evidence and come to a conclusion about what's behind the evidence. For instance do you believe there's such a thing as gravity? It was Isaac Newton who first deduced the concept of gravity and put a name to it. He didn't invent gravity. It exists, it's a real thing. But no one had actually given it a name as a real measurable Force. He deduced it from watching nature and when an apple fell from a tree, he realized there's an invisible force that draws everything down to the ground on this planet. If a bird stops flying it will fall to the ground. If you throw a rock in the sky it only goes so far and then it falls down. Everything goes down, water always follows the path of least resistance downward. There's a force that causes everything to go downward on this planet, which allows us to be even be able to walk on it step by step without floating off into space. Isaac Newton deduced this Force existed by meditating on the fact that everything always goes downward if you let it go it's natural course other than going upward. The Trinity was deduced from the scriptures in the New Testament. God the father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit are mentioned numerous times in conjunction with each other throughout all of Jesus's teachings, and repeatedly through all the letters of the New Testament written by his disciples and apostles. When David Wood says the Trinity was deduced it means the Trinity always existed and was evident throughout all the scriptures but no one had ever put a name to that concept. When you look at the concept of God the father, of Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit on the scripture passages, they are hanging around each other. You can't really find one mentioned without the other close behind. They always come in a set together. You never have them spoken of a separate from each other for long. When one is mentioned the other two are very close behind. Read the scriptures for yourself. Read all the letters and the gospels of the New Testament. They are always there hardly ever are mentioned alone but always in conjunction with each other. The early church fathers saw this and realized it meant something important. You could not separate these three from each other, the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit. They worked together in unity and with the same purpose and message. Therefore they deduced the Trinity. It exists. It's a real Force.

@@Butterfly-truth your simply trying to give a plausible but incorrect explanation, which isn't true. You have set aside my argument and are giving the appearance of rebutting it but you haven't actually done so. Your analogy is wrong to begin with. You are comparing metaphysical aspects to facts like gravity. It didn't take Newton to come and deduce gravity or give it a name. People thousands of years before newton knew of the existence of gravity. What I stated was that there was no such thing as Trinity in concept (leave aside the name or semantics) for the first 300 years. People didn't go about preaching the Trinity for the first 300 years in whatever name you want to give it. So if as you mention the Trinity was so obvious in the Bible, people for the first 300 years who were the staunchest followers failed to mention the concept in the form it exists today????. Your comparing it to gravity and newton to explain your point is baseless. The two are totally different concepts. Gravity is a mathematical concept that Newton gave a mathematical equation to. If you put half the world in a room and asked them to come up with the laws Newton came up with, nobody would have been able to, cuz they aren't smart enough. Religion doesn't work that way. Christian Scholars armed with the BIBLE didn't exist for the first 300 years?? I am talking about the concept of Trinity, not the word. The concept didnt exist on a wide scale and there were different versions of it. There were versions and versions of it. So apparently God wants to be vary vague in the BIBLE, and goes right to the point in the Quran, where He states "Say, “He is Allah, [who is] One, Allah, the Eternal Refuge, He neither begets nor is born, Nor is there to Him any equivalent." But hey, you are free to worship who you want according to your reasoning. I am not debating that. I am simply debating Nabeel's absurd logic of how he came to the conclusion that the the Trinity is true. Let us put it this way. If a Muslim gave such an explanation as Qureshi did, I would not accept it. If it really irked my senses, I would go and read the Quran for myself, which I have done. And I have also read the parts of the Bible that Christians rely upon to "deduce" the Trinity.

Ya he said that in his introduction and even Yaya said he is in favour of how they were not consider pure Muslims, if you watch it further he also said that he's not a passive Muslim but actively engaged and involved in his faith with others starting from his school days.

Its extremely misleading. Nabeel and co. called him to be an ex-muslim. He was a qadiyani and not a muslim and according to the belief of qadiyanis the one called Mirza Gulam Ahmad of Qadiyan was the Messiah returned as promised in the scriptures. He called this anti-christ Mirza to be the promised returned messiah/Jesus whole his life and now every where he went nabeel used to call himself a Muslim This is a lie. He and his family are non-muslims.

JESUS CHRIST WAS VERY MAN AND VERY GOD WALKING ON EARTH AMONG MEN . JESUS IS LOVE HE PREACHES LOVE FORGIVENESS JOY RECONCILIATION . MUSLIMS RELIGION IS NOT BASED ON LOVE AND FORGIVENESS WHEN THEY ROBBED PEOPLE IN THEIR COUNTRIES OF THEIR RELIGIOUS FREEDOM . IF MUSLIMS WORSHIP GOD BECAUSE THEY LOVE HIM, WHERE IS THE MERCY GOD REQUIRES OF THOSE WHO LOVE HIM DEMONSTRATED IN THEIR LIFE STYLE ? ,WHY DO THEY IMPRISONED ,KILL ,TORTURE ANY ONE WHO GOD LOVES AND THEY CHOOSE NOT TO WORSHIP AS MUSLIMS DO IN THEIR COUNTRY ?. WHERE IS THE LOVE OF GOD DEMONSTRATED IN ISLAM WHEN A MAN MARRIES A CHILD , OR DEMONSTRATE HONOUR KILLING ON THEIR OWN FAMILY MEMBERS OR ROB WOMEN OF THE RIGHTS GOD GAVE THEM.?
