In this episode we go straight to the production line to watch how the #1 surf boat is made. We capture the process from start to finish. The amount of man hours it takes to create a boat of this caliber is mind blowing!! Centurion created things on our boat that no one has ever seen before😳!
One of my favorite parts about this episode besides the amazing process was the fact that @CenturionBoats1976 has a bible study for anyone to join at work! We joined in and it really showed me how much this company as a whole cares about the people around them. My Dad and I really enjoyed learning about this process as well as seeing that everything on this boat is created in the USA. I hope anyone watching this video learned a few things and enjoyed seeing this process.

I've seen boats/ships being built when I lived along the coast of Maine for 20 years, but nothing like this, no. This technology and these techniques are truly industry changing. Great video, gents.

Yep! My uncle used to make boats and taught me how as well! I'm currently building the molds for a 100% carbon fiber bed for my OBS Chevy 1500. Removable bedsides, the actual bed itself, and a tailgate. Gonna have Aluminum plates laminated in at certain mounting locations for strength and to tap threads into for bolts!

I hope you workers have good insurance. When they were laying mat, there was littler no eye protection. Also, throughout the factory there should be more use of high-grade respiratory. I wouldn’t be using those cheap cartridge style ones. I’d have the hoods that had the fourth stare, sorry for your future health problems. Fiberglass is deadly on the lungs.

Holy cow what an amazing boat that’s going to be. I live on the north coast of British Columbia and we are all about fishing. So we don’t see many boats like this we are all welded aluminum and giant trollers and gill netters. I can’t wait to see it finished.

Used to work at a Centurion and Mastercraft dealership. I learned to surf behind a Centurion, every year we got a new demo boat that we kept at a local marina, they let us take it out a few times a week. I ride goofy though so i never really got a very good lip

Years ago when they built specialized boats for Barefoot Waterskiing I skied behind them in Tournaments. They build nice quality boats.Thes boat manufacturers have really upped their game these days especially on the interior. Have you seen Dave Sparks Pavati boat?

The boat is beautiful but you may hate the black. On the interior in the sun the black will be lava. Even though my favorite mix the black and brown not best for the sun. Enjoy. Super nice

All looks pretty much the same as every other fiberglass factory, been in the game for about 30 years. The wax is not actually why a part releases from a mould, a fresh mould has to be sanded in grades all the way down to 15 micron wet and dry, then buffed, then sealed and finally waxed, essentially the wax maintains the shine and actually helps to hold the gelcoat on the surface until the glass reinforces it, spray on release agents are used here in Aus these days, easier to use and less labour time equals less cost, one 60ft mould can be done in less than an hour, 2 coats.
