Went out yesterday on our little town's highly pressured pond (that they call it a lake... haha). A cold front had moved in and the wind was blowing hard (air temp. upper 40's). I slowed rolled a Owner Flashy Swimmer with a 4.8" soft swim bait, as it was the only lure that could come through all the slop and weeds that were coming up on the bottom (the pond is extremely shallow with a max. six foot depth). Managed to catch my first Debo dink of the year at 1 and half pounds. Had a larger one but she threw the hook before I could get her in. Can't wait for it to warm up again and hope that I can have even a tenth of the day you two just experienced. What a fun. As you say when you're slaying those dinks... "It's still a fish." Tight lines...

Went fishing a couple days ago. Caught 2 dinks in the dark with a topwater. Once it became daylight I couldn't even get a bite. Tried lipless, crank, something else, and a Ned. First time skunked with a Ned. Then Debo posts a vid where he is draining the lake. I don't own an underspin. That's about to change. 👍🍺🎣

Always fun watching y'all out fishing. Loved the MLF rules competition. Me and the wife usualy go with whomever catchest the 1st fish, biggest fish and most fish owes the other person a coke. Somehow I usualy end up with 3 cokes🙄. Her strategy is ususly very simple, whatever lure or plastic has pretty colors is what she'll use. On a different note, it would be so cool to get a chance to hang out with y'all and fish a weekend, bet I'd learn alot from both you guys. If y'all ever decide to hit up Chattanooga and fish the TN river let me know.

There is a private lake (about 25 acres) near me that's over stocked like that. We throw most of what we catch on the bank or haul them to other ponds if it's cool enough. It's a great place to take kids. I have ran out of plastic worms with the fish still hitting. A kid never has to make more than two or three cast without a fish.

Finally a good feeshin day!!!!! Its starting up out here in Eastern PA also. Been a looooooong weenter

ive only caught 1 fish form that underpins of that size, i used smaller underpins generic ones and caught small bass. ive gotta give this a try more often.
