Does the port setting for Chrome works when we search chrome in windows start and open from there?

It doesn't matter how you open chrome but open in the configured port so that it supports remote debugging.

confusion ..y typing 9222 port

Great ! i came across many , but only you have explained clearly between "Launch" and "Attach" . I didnt have any trouble when performing "Launch" but getting below error when i tried to attach it "Cannot connect to the target at localhost:9222: Could not connect to debug target at localhost:9222: Cancelled GET localhost:9222/json/version: timeout after 10000ms" I have added "remote-debugging-port=9222" also as mentioned Below is the configurations i use : "configurations": [ { "name": "Attach to Chrome", "port": 9222, "request": "attach", "type": "pwa-chrome", "webRoot": "${workspaceFolder}" }, { "name": "Launch Chrome", "request": "launch", "type": "pwa-chrome", "url": "localhost:4200", "webRoot": "${workspaceFolder}" } ]

Add two dash (--) infornt of remote debugging And don't click on the URL in the console and open angular. Instead open chrome and then browse localhost:4000

Yeah I meant I added "-- remote-debugging-port=9222"

I don't see the orange highlight in the bottom of the vs code when we attach .. all I got was the "cannot connect to the target at localhost:9222"
