Thank you! Many years ago I had a wonderful Catholic video on creation narrated by an old Catholic priest with a long, grey beard and a German or eastern European accent and I lost it long ago and can't find it on the internet. Part of his name was Maria in honor of Mary, and the video dealt with the process of sedimentation and also why the literal story of Adam and Eve was essential to understanding why our Lord was crucified for our sins. If you know what video I am talking about I would love to find it again. Bless you!

The dating method used for fossils is wildly inconsistent because it's based on loads of unproven assumptions. The organization 'Genesis Apologetics' has a lot of good information about that, the one that I remember most being that soft, pliable tissue has been found inside of bones that are supposedly b/millions of years old.

@@ImprobableWizard 1) This works only if you assume a constant decay rate and initial conditions favorable to the theory. 2) Ignoring the above, the dating method was proven in cases of known age volcanic material to be absolutely false----witness recent volcanic debris dated to "millions of years old". 3) Radiometric dating, as cranky and inconsistent as it can be, is only one of several dating methods many of which point to a young earth.

@@Joe-kw2qh That is not evidence for evolution. It is an example of variation within a species. I am of Irish/English descent. I have blonde hair. If I have a child with red-hair that would NOT be evolution, but variation within a species because of the recessed/supressed information that was in my dna all along. I would not have 'evolved' a red-headed child. True Darwinian evolution would involve the production of brand-new genetic information that was absolutely NOT PRESENT in a former generation in dormant or supressed form. If the moths had developed a pincer-claw, or porcupine-like quills to defend themselves; then that might be a good example of true evolution. But to simply be re-expressing information that was already prtesent in their DNA because a different environment triggered it; is not.

Honestly, I don't understand why people who vehemently believe evolution do not just outright reject the Catholic faith? If one truly believes in evolution, that's fine, but why taint the Catholic faith with that wicked disgusting, nonsense. Why not take that wicked disgusting nonsense blend it with the proper secular, godless, aethiestic, humanist viewpoint and leave it at that? What's the purpose of trying to blend evolution with the Catholic faith? Fundamentally it sure seems as though Evolution is the basis of an entirely different faith so why not just take belief in that faith and at least leave Catholicism alone untainted?

Because they have been indoctrinated into having to believe it through their ancestors. If you accept science, then the obvious thing to do is reject religion, but that goes against everything you've been told since birth and your social groups. Pretty difficult! The usual defence it to find some way to reconcile the two. Have a look at any of the videos of people that have tried to leave orthodox Judaism, Mormonism, or Amish. It's really hard. You get shunned.

It's actually seen as a plus if you can do this. Atheists look to the evidence only and change what they accept with better evidence. And that evidence is independent and is the same for everyone.

Phenomena that science is unable to understand because of the secuencial change this is determined by nature and opposes “chance” that is what determined or specificity, there are principals that evolutionists ignore (willingly or deficiency in observation?) nature is very determined, that is observation and data that only by ignoring of true observation goes inadvertently, “no thing can give what it lacks” no one can give what it does not have, that’s a principle of proportionality that is impose by nature, Modern science with objective and realistic moderate Philosophy has no claim other than advance blindly, perhaps is because true scientists contemplate in an Inteligent Necesary Being that is Unmoved and has for His Necessity of His Goodness. Modern science requires faith also because of its dishonesty and absurd claims that contradicts itself, not so if seen objectively and with intellectual honesty.

Old world primates have a unique version of color vision with a unique mutation of the genes that control the development of the cones that sense the different wavelengths of light. Most mammals see the high frequency light, the blues to green and the middle, greens to yellow. About 40 million years ago the ancestor to old world primates had a gene duplication of the gene that develops the cones in the retina for greens and yellow and then there was a mutation of the duplicated gene that made the resultant cones sensitive to light at the red end of the visible spectrum. ONLY primates have this gene, we have it because we too are primates and this is a direct example of mutations adding new complexity to the genome and by tracing these genes we can trace our genetic heritage.

Just in order to save you an hour and 30 mins of your life... this video only addresses the apparent conflict between the Revealed data and the evidence for evolution in a particular attack to the only view that seems to reconcile both, theistic evolution. It does in no particular way engage in the scientific facts for evolution, namely many branches of moderns science among which we find paleontology, genetics, cosmology and geology... they say just one thing about geology, to be honest. Evolution comes up uncontested as a scientific fact after this video, and since it only points to the conflict between our faith and a scientific fact that they do not envolve with... our faith ends up being a fable that contradicts scientific facts... in order to be a Catholic in good stance you would have to be pretty much a dumb anti-scientific, which ends up leading many to athiesm. Also, this does only address Magisterial documents prior to evolutionary discoveries and exaggerates its Magisterial weigh, lifting to dogmas things that on their own do not contain a condemnation of the denial of the proposition, which is what a dogma is, when at the same time leaves out of the frame other Church claims that approach much more to the Evolution.

No human being is infallible. Therefore, I can assure you that the Bible is not the infallible word of God and I can guarantee you that your pope is far. I’m telling you from infallible. Christ leaves it up to each one of us to develop a relationship with him in order to gain our insight and knowledge through his scriptures, understanding that when we understand his nature, we test that against the scriptures to verify the truth, and we use discernment that is given through the Holy Spirit. Quit depending on salable human beings to spoonfeed your relationship with Christ and most certainly don’t depend on a demonic spirit appearing as the Virgin Mary to feed you, your belief system. It’s time to grow up and understand that you have been lied to by your cult. Trust me there will come a time when you’re asked to drink the Kool-Aid. What are you going to do?

You start by saying that the Bible is not the inerrant word of the Lord, and then go onto say the Scriptures are supposed to be used to verify and discern the truth while having a relationship with Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. That's inconsistent and untenable.

The Bibe is a record of historical events that include some of the Spoken words of Jesus Christ and inspired by the HS.
