[Debut: New LCD DRMD Screens]SBS Transit C951 Set 9065 Fort Canning to Bukit Panjang

Жыл бұрынA rare night time debut, the time has finally came for Downtown Line trains to recieve their new LCD screens. Contract C9511 has been awarded to replace all 92 C951/A trains from LED to LCD screens. This was an inevitable move as Hume, DTL3 Extension stations as well as DTLe beyond Bukit Panjang stations are all under way, and the current LED panels would not be able to fit all 39+ stations. This is the first of a mass replacement, and will be the norm in the upcoming months and years~

This might be a guess but, I think Installing the drmd like this might be the faster and more cost effective solution than making it flushed.

Quite similar in terms of design but the screen itself is way bigger

kinda odd that the C851Es still use lcd, if the future is drmd , and even odd as the refubished c751a use drmd but the new c851e dosent. At least dtl has drmd and looks nice

DTL: C951/A New DRMD in July 2023, Complete in 2024. CCL: C830 new Map paper, C830C new DRMD in 2024, complete in July 2024. NEL: C751C and C851E new DRMD in July 2023, complete in 2025. NSEWL: C151A new DRMD C151B and C151C new STIARS update in 2025.

I hate Downtown Line!!! Because of TWGF1853 Who wear Spectacles and Pathlight Green PE Attire spams Downtown Line non-stop like in DTL Stations and All 92 C951 Trains on Downtown Line
