I knew he is a red flag, but I feel like right before he found out her true identity, he really liked her. He liked a woman for the first time, he trusted a woman for the first time, so when she betrayed his trust, my heart actually broke for him. Nobody's opened his heart that much before :(

True but like you said he was a red flag. From the beginning. He was interested in her because of her power. If he knew who she was he would have killed her or used her to draw out her family because that's what his goal was. By pretending to be someone else she gave him a different viewpoint than what he was used to. Did, she lie? Yes. Did he kill? Yes. They both made wrong choices and each of them thought their actions were justified. So not all the blame so be on her.

He was the villain but her had more chemistry than the ML that’s why we liked him a lot. He is a good actor when you can make the audience fall in love with the villain. I watched only for him not her silly antics . He created a sincerity in the character that made you think maybe she can turn him around. So to see him in a RomCom now where the same sincerity of character sucks you in is wonderful. I want him to have a happy ending..

i really think ryu shio's character had sm of potential like if this drama was truly a romance between those two if would have done way better. Like their chemistry was so real and his character could have had the perfect arc if they just let him realise his mistakes and let him learn to love and trust.

Definitely not , we as audience knows his past , his genuine feelings for her and all that, but from her perspective he's just a drug dealer who have caused and is causing harm to people. Irl , will you sympathise with such a person and date him? The real villains by logic should be the mafia.

Ryu Sio hard carried this show. I know he's a villain but Namsoon was the real red flag in their story. She pretended to understand him, played him and led him on. When he asked if she lied just to investigate him, she didn't even quibble, told him everything was a lie and basically triggered him to go on a rampage. If only she said that not everything was a lie, that she thinks of him as a friend, then Sio might have had a chance to redeem himself. He was treated as a monster who can never change when in fact he never wanted to be like that but was forced to be one. I never thought that I would hate the 'good' guys but I did in this drama. Not just because BWS played as Ryu Sio but because the heroes/heroines were self-righteous snobs.

How does doing all this to drug dealer and a murderer make her a red flag? There's one thing you said "infact he never wanted to be but was forced to be one" - THIS is something the viewers know , bcuz we saw his past in detail , that's not the case with Namsoon. His tragic past was mostly told to us but her. Even if he can be redempted , with her having no feelings for him , it doesn't seem smth she has to do. The writers simply failed at character growth and development.

Bro, was so looking forward to watching this. I had it on my watch list for so long... how can I watch it after this ???? I can't see her with someone else or be put through that ending again 😭😭😭 WTH was the director/producer's goal here? They strayed so far from the original Strong Girl, we're not supposed to want our korean superwoman to be with the villain.
