Usually the second couple will have a more interesting plot than the leads. Once again, this couple followed that theme. There's certainly more hardship for them than the fantasy lives of the leads. It's more relatable and therefore tends to get a lot of love from the audience.

Why like why they are only in kdrama, and not in real life, in reality there are always men who down on women and on their potential and always finding a reason to make women feel insulted. I just hate how they never really want to see real person inside us. All they do is hate and make sexist joke which will make us uncomfortable. Then they say can't take jokes. I'm sorry now don't come after me saying not all men, I know but most of them just like sexualizing women. And of course it will feel uncomfortable if anyone makes jokes like this to anyone male or female
