Yes he liked Erino but the message was passed to Nozomi accidentally, then the guy found out 3:14 but he didn't say anything to Nozomi, then despite knowing that he still continues to talk to Nozomi and started having feelings towards her 8:43

I don't think Setoyama like Erino. Setoyama really like the message written in desk, so he starts send letter "love confession" to the person who wrote that message which happened to be Nozomi who also sit in that desk everytime they're changing the classroom At first he thought it was Erino's desk because he saw Erino clean up that desk which used by Nozomi after class. Erino help clean up Nozomi's desk because Nozomi must go to broadcast room quickly. This the first missunderstand between them haha. Nozomi suprised by the letter, because they don't know each other. Setoyama doesn't wanna give up and suggest to use notebook to change message between them.

I have watched it six times but it is slightly confusing the exact moment when he started liking Karudo because at the beginning of the movie out of all the girls fawning over him, he approached Karudo and didn't pay Erino any mind so he thought Karudo was the girl who commented on the desk but when he saw Erino cleaning Karudo's desk, he thought he got it wrong and the girl he was looking for was Erino not Kurado. But he still like Karudo and used her connection with Erino to get to know her. Then when she made that comment when they were walking home after Karudo, he realized he had it right the first time and more signs pointing to Karudo being the girl he was looking for. By the time he saw the drawing on the billboard, he knew it was Karudo he was writing to in their secret diary but didn't want things to end so he played along. He started to really like her when they spent time alone at the amusement park but started to fall hard for her when he asked her to help him with English. He got jealous seeing her with Yano and had no problems with his sister mistakenly calling her his girlfriend and he indirectly introduced her to his family.
