That's a great question! Currently, it looks like you cannot change the original aspect ratio of the image. However, there is a workaround: 1. Copy and paste the image of interest into Paint (or similar editing utility) 2. Click the "Resize" command under the "Image" portion of the ribbon 3. Uncheck the option that says, "Maintain aspect ratio" 4. Resize image as needed and save as desired file name 5. Import this edited image into inventor as shown in this video. NOTE: Use the "link" check box when inserting an image into your sketch plane (prior to using "decal" command) to allow inventor to auto-update the image when the source file changes. For example, you import an image called "Decal Image.jpg"; then, you follow steps 1-4 from this comment and change the aspect ratio to your specifications. You then save this edited version as "Decal Image.jpg" in the same file location as the original which will overwrite the original image file {DON'T FORGET TO BACK UP ORIGINAL UNEDITED IMAGE ELSEWHERE}. When you overwrite the original linked image with this new one, the image used in the sketch plane for the decal will change automatically. This will save you time when fine tuning the image to your specifications. You might have to press the "Local Update" button on the top toolbar (next to "Undo/Redo") to update the model with the updated linked image. I hope this helped! Thanks for watching :)
