It absolutely breaks my heart listening/watching this video. I remember the very first time I saw them back in 2003 I believe. No one knew who they were, they had just debut in the US and they toured with Incantation. They played in one of the best venues at that time (L'amours) in BK NYC. Absolutely NO ONE expected to see one of the best death metal acts of all time. Decapitated had been fiercely praised and talked about after that show. They completely stole the show that night and shot up in popularity instantly. Nyc would never forget them after that. And neither would I. It truly is tragic what happened to them, but they will always be legends to our community. 🤘🤘❤

They had a crash in 2007, the drummer died, and the singer got injured, some mistake happened and he went into a coma and now he's paralyzed and in a wheelchair.

Best death metal song of all time, with some of the worst diarrhea sounding production of all time. Absolutely blew me away the first time I heard this, could not believe what I was hearing, too good to be true, but I did notice the diarrhea guitar sound.

i was a freshman in highschool 2004 and this one senior i didnt even know but passed in the quad to go home took me under his wing and showed me true metal and true horror movies. this being one of them and iv forever been thankful for all he showed me. it reminds me of a movie hed always yell "hey little skater dude come listen to this song!" all because i wore all black with my long hair and black sabbath shirts

This is one of my favorite songs of all time. I had no idea there was a video for this song so it was a real treat to come across this tonight after checking out their most recent release tonight. I gotta say I definitely prefer their older releases, one of my all time favorite concerts was Decapitated live with Vader as the headliner, my chiropractor is still making money off my mangled neck 15 years later.

Summer Slaughter, 2012, FT. Lauderdale FL. I had the random opportunity to watch Decapitated live. Michael Keen and his Girlfriend(at the time) were standing right next to me watching as well. He was in good health then, and was a super cool dude. (The Faceless were playing next) such a fun show.
