Beautiful Pete! Big mistake ending the 389. Going to lose customers and fans. I guess Peterbilt probably doesn't care, new younger drivers will never miss a beautiful classic. Thanks for the video Steve.

Peterbilt isn't going to lose anything trying to modernize their lineup. I'm going to look into a new 589 but keep my 06 379 with the old school toggle switches.

I drive truck for a local construction company in southern MN. I drive a freightliner 122sd. I probably will never own my own truck, but frequently look at truck videos and trucks for sale, and usually when I see custom trucks they have a bright red paintjob, that may look great, but then the dash is painted bright red to match, and I think that makes them look terrible. You, sir, are %100 correct on this painted dash, that subtle color, makes it look absolutely stunning in a subtle, yet very stunning, classy way!

589 has the same cab as the 579 & W990 . 589 has a wider cab & looks more like a car inside instead of a LARGECAR TRK. U can Google the difference between the two for more differences

Outstanding as always. Question, and I know I will sound like a neanderthal, but as to the stereo, don't they offer a CD player anymore? Nothing more frustrating when out of range reception of stations and no way to play a disk. Otherwise, your guys just kill it! Hope they get a nice Christmas treats.
