December Diary Entry #8 Christmas House Tour, Power outage, Holiday Outings

This Christmas home tour video is a little bit of this and a little bit of that! Ben and I attended a couple Holiday gatherings that we decided to share and I put together my Christmas House Tour 2022. For those watching for the first time, Sugarwood is going under renovations, so this year, decorating was at a minimum. The power outage prevented further decorating and editing.
The thumbnail photo and holiday house we went to was a neighbors house. Thank you Lisa And Gregg!

Good early morning Linda! Envisioning you sitting at the table writing in your journal with a cup of coffee and Willow not too far away! Thank you for all the entries-they are beautifully done and sometimes it’s the little things that stand out the most-lighting the candles, Willow’s welcome, sitting together with your bare feet enjoying the warmth of the fire. You and Ben adapt to whatever’s happening and that is so admirable. The tour was a Christmas card, somewhere between Currier and Ives and Thomas Kincaid. Thank you so very much for sharing your lives with us. Looking forward to future diary entries and of course, would love more!

It's funny I came across this video today,. On tour way home from our daughters , mind you its July 3rd 2023, & I was watching fireworks going off around the area we were driving. I said this Christmas I want to take time out like we use to and drive around looking at Christmas lights. 😊 Thanks Linda, I needed this. Willow is such a calm doggie and so so sweet. Christmas at your home is very warm and cozy even when there's no electric.

I love the way you decorated for Christmas during a home remodel. I remodeled our kitchen, dinette, half bath, laundry room, family room and basement 3 years ago. I couldn't imagine doing it during the holidays. So "Cheers to You Linda!!!" and have a Merry Christmas!! YAY to more videos!! Linda

So lovely! We too just had a 3 day outage. No heat except the fireplace No water because we have a well. They will be here this week to hook up our whole house generator. Timing is everything. Merry Christmas Linda. By New Years you'll have reached the 50,000 Mark for sure. Way to go!

It’s all about how you handle it that matters. I had my purse stolen on Friday at the local WalMart. I said “The Grinch stole all The Who’s Christmas bam boozles and Christmas still came 🥹”. God Bless us everyone 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🎄😉

Linda, I can't tell you how much I enjoy your day to day progress on your seasonal decor. This season with the snow scenes is so beautiful. Always have been partial to the Colonial period of architecture, been on many trips to Colonial Williamsburg. Thank you for your wonderful channel!

Hi Linda…I can’t believe how gorgeous Sugarwood is looking even when in the middle of construction…I love how you and Ben just get on with life even in a power outage…so great to see the old lamps come out to play…I have some that are old and rusty that I use for decor and love them. Sugarwood looks so pretty in the snow when lit up…Merry Christmas to you all…🥰🇦🇺

Your videos are so full of the Christmas spirit, even though you are going through the kitchen makeover! I just don't know how you do it all. The straight jacket crew would be after me if I was involved with all of that. I love your music and the professionalism of our photography. Also the editing.
