Labrynth is good enough without these cringe Virus and Floodgate cards. Like I honestly would have preferred they took a shot at the Labrynth floodgates like they did with Runick floodgates

@FrostReave Runick and Labrynth's floodgates are the same, like Lab can run more variety of floodgates, but both decks are not hurt by using floodgates. Huh, it's ... almost like... the deck doesn't really matter. Be it Draco, Runick or Lab, it's almost like all the power is concentrated in a couple of cards that make a deck boring to deal with...

@@Npi13O7 No they use very different types of floodgates. Lab mainly uses Skill Drain and D Barrier and rarely Rivalry of Warlords. Runick uses restriction floodgates such as TCOBO. The bans only hit floodgate strategies, and barley touched general decks who splashes them so it didn’t effect lab

people always interrupt the wrong thing... dont negate circular search, negate alembertian search dies to bystials, maxx c, shifter, and droll (depending on opening hand) and it sucks at breaking boards.... you just have to hope you can out gas whatever interruptions they have setup

When that happens, it's usually my opponent that scoops because I opened a bunch of Quick Plays and Bystials. Called By, Shark Cannon and Bystials all give ways of deleting what they tributed on top of any furniture they have in GY that they need to keep up their grind game, and it's super easy to chain Linkage and/or Droplet to any of those Spells if desired. That's assuming they don't get their Welcomes hit by Ash before they can even set EEV up. Sucks to lose out on Duster or Talents and getting random hand rips off Engage searches, but those spells are iffy against Lab anyway compared to Evenly Matched and other hand traps.

@@metalmariomega My worst one was where I opened 2 engage, multirole, rota, shark cannon, and field spell. BOOM. I scooped immediately and probably found myself in a youtube short.

If you have a negate that uses "when" in its text, it can only be used in response to the last thing that happend (the last thing in the chain). So lets say there is a chain link 3, and you have "solemn judgment". You can only negate number 3 in the chain. In other words, you cannot negate chain link 1 and 2 because they are being blocked by chain link 3. Hope it helps.

Making it to where your opponent can only respond to the last card that was activated You activate card A, then you chain card B. Your opponent can not use Ash to negate A, only B

​@@milkweedreflections It's only bad in this game because the effects are usually not just 1 for 1. The hand rip comes on a body in Labrynth's case and it's easy to constantly proc it. Cards like Lightforce Sword can be balanced. Psyframe Omega is also decently balanced at 1, all things considered.
