no, the gold ones are usually the decks that are for sale outside of the us. in order to determine if they're fake, i would read the text on the back, and look at the seal. if its as a regular bicycle deck should be, most likely its real. however if you dont want to take the chance you could just order from bicyclecards.com to ensure you get real product.

I mean it is missing the registered TM. Doesn't say "Trusted Since 1885". The seal should say "The United Stated Playing Card Company". Plastic coated.. Good review man! :D
