I like both because you give good insight on the feel of the card, which is important

Thank you David. Like the backs a lot! Looks like its based on New Fan Back (My most ever favorite decks!) . I can't understand why some of the marked decks are allowed to slip into production with some obscure marks. Cohorts, ugh! 10 and King, yep a sore spot! I've developed double vision and need a prismatic lens. Depending on my line of sight the marks become indecipherable! We need some old guys to review and test drive marked decks before they go into production!!!! But I think I need a pack of the Pioneers any how! One other thing. Wish the red aces had a bit of red added to central pip!

@@magicorthodoxy Thanks David. It was probably clear but I meant red added to the red aces ! Edited the comment for future readers. Keep up the good work, David!

Hi Dave I might have missed your comments. Are the markings well designed for quick glance? I particularly like the aged link to Worlds fair. I forsee a premise there in prevention. ( I find your reviews informative and useful. Tx )

I think with practice you can do it pretty quick

Thank you for this. Great content and review. If I may ask a silly one... Is the king of hearts committing suicide or does it represent Julius Caesar being betrayed?
@magicorthodoxy2 жыл бұрын
I doubt it's either. The king of hearts is sometimes called the "suicide king" because he appears to be sticking his sword into his head. This is a result of centuries of bad copying by English card makers where the king's axe head has disappeared.
@kamrankhan67602 жыл бұрын
@@magicorthodoxy Wow. Let's blame the English then ;) Much appreciated. Thank you.

@@magicorthodoxy This is the the reviews for the Pioneers :-Marco - Ellusionist customer reviews "Love these cards, had to order another half brick as soon as I got them open. They feel great (E7 stock, duh) easy to read markings in all four corners as well as a one way marking system that I didn't even see mentioned anywhere." Also Peter Turner says you can use them for Royal Road to Mentalism Volume 1.
