Okay, Blood Moon. I get what you are saying re: thickness. I was originally attracted to the deck because, well, FABULOUS color and artistry, obviously, but I also really like the way the people look androgynous and a bit otherworldly. I adore the weirdness of the artwork. I felt like the deck was very dreamy, alternate universe. Honestly, I think Sam could have gone even further into that world. This deck could be a graphic novel. I totally agree with your box issue. I feel like this deck would be even cooler in a larger size...but the small cards are nice to handle. I enjoyed reading it totally intuitively. I didn't need the book at all. I ended up letting it go, but we had some good times! Can't speak to the oracle, other than there is a shortage of possums in decks, that's the truth. I also get where you're going with the simple artwork. I have been playing with Kelly Fitzgerald's Nellie's Deck, and the super simple artwork is just enough to point me in a direction. It's really fun. Still haven't jumped on the Roots and Wings bandwagon, I am such a fan of Ana's, Oracle of Echoes, I just don't want anything else like it. Cardstock is tempting tho. Mystic Masters is still my favorite re: that olde artwork. I got to hold Terra Volitile this past week, and I like your deck better. After awhile you become SO familiar with the images... little things jump out. Is stupid summer over yet?? Please, ty.😊

Sometimes I need to go towards simplified or sparse visuals. That helps me focus on the one to two images or symbols there is on the card. Loved seeing your monthly collections

I wanted to love Blood Moon but the snakes suit kind of bothered me and I found it hard to see the details of images (my eyesight, I guess!). The images are beautiful,, but I moved this one on. You're looking lovely, by the way! 😺
