I have a Timbertech Prime+ sample and the bottom looks capped to me.

Timbertech Prime+ was and always has been a 4-side capped board, but we were told by our sources that they could be planning to phase that out in the near future. There are 3 product lines within TimberTech that are (or are going to be) 3-side capped: Prime, Prime+, and Premier.

@@voyager-roofingsidingdecks2646 sure wished it were easier to decide on what to go with. The deck is low grade deck, in Florida, so I’m thinking fully capped would be best. What brand/line in the Timbertech prime+ or next level would you recommend?

What does cap men?

The 'cap' on a deck board is the layer of Polymer on top that protects the composite from water, moisture, scratches, etc. Most products have a Polymer cap on the top and sides of a board, and TimberTech also offers some of their product in a 4-sided cap where the Polymer wraps around the bottom of the boards as well.
