I honestly sometimes question some fans ball knowledge . They call for trossard to get benched for having one bad or average game after consistently bailing us out and winning us games again and again. But sucks off martinelli for consistently putting stinkers after stinkers. Trossard has earnt the right to start ahead of martinelli and martinelli was again deadfood when he came on. This is nothing but toxic favoritism towards a player and clown opinion

Fact: Trossard is our best finisher but he has given us stinker after stinker. I think Martinelli is carrying some sort of injury, he has regressed this season - he even lost pace. Surprisingly. Head down once again.

You must have said the same thing about havertz in the BEGINNING of the season....i assume..😂 Havertz got multiple chances ..even after playing terrible for 10-11 matches staright.. Same with saka..even if he plays bad 6-7 games..he keeps getting minutes .. OR PENALTIES..WHICH STACKS UP HIS STATS.. MARTINELLI the match he got injured..he scored a goal in that ..match as well PLAYED AGAINST CITY for last 7 minutes..OUT OF POSITION.. since that match has only started 2 matches..AND IS QUITE CLEAR THAT INJURY WAS A bigger than what was told in the media... INJURIES CAN have major impact on a player's performance..and the guy barely get minutes..... But the THING DIFFERENT WITH martinelli ..is that he won't get MULTIPLE CHANCES LIKE HAVERTZ (WHO WAS arteta's signing..who got a PITY PENALTY..TO BOOST HIS CONFIDENCE..when he was playing shit) I'm sure mikel told the team to give that pen to him... Or THE arsenal MARKETING STAR BOY WHO GETS hyped up like he is the next messi...AND STATPADS..WITH PENS..AND GETS CHANCE AFTER CHANCE ..EVEN AFTER PLAYING BAD for 5-6 matches... who gets the most help in our system I'M PRETTY sure martinelli will get sold...but believe me If Any other prem team signs martinelli...WE WILL REGRET IT.. But with martienelli he gives his all but is not an intelligent footballer mate. His football iq is very low. Not a kind of player we need in our team when we have high iq players like odegaard trossard rice and havertz in team. So martinelli needs upgrading in my opinion or he needs to improve his game intelligence

I don't buy into Wenger's infuriating covering his ass "4th spot is a trophy" BS! Even if we fall short this season to CITY, I don't see why we won't go again next season the same and with 2 top/astute signings, could even win a trophy. I mean how more seasons can we be drawn against CITY & LIV in the domestic cups and get knocked out by them. This team needs to win something very soon to cement their continual bond.

I would always take a player who has an average game but makes the difference in the final third than rather a player who has a good game but did f all in the final third. Trossard was brilliant again and please stop the delusion and cap. Saka does the same thing as Havertz at home to Bayen in the Champion's League, skips past the keeper and drags his leg looking for a penalty. It isn't given, we draw that game and ultimately go out. But Saka was already past Neuer and if he stays on his feet he has a clear shot at goal from close range. I'm not going to play hindsight because these are split second decisions being made under pressure. My take though is that is that if it's possible to stay on your feet and get a shot off, you should always try. It's a gamble either way as the ref might not call a foul if you don't go down, but they might not call one anyway and by taking the shot you are leaving the least to chance. You see it all the time in basketball. The player is fouled in the middle of shooting, they still try and make their shot because it's guaranteed points if they do.

@@philzbilz2941 not to knock Saka but if Havertz was given his number of penalty kicks then he'd be at I believe 22 goals. I think he's just fine leading the line and linking up with everyone. It's a good problem to have because we need to get an elite 6 so that Rice can continue to grow in his 8 role, and money needs to be spent on LW.

I switched off after VAR denied Bournemouth a rightful equaliser. Never a penalty either. It's legit getting to the point where it's looking like match fixing. VAR makes football seriously hard to watch now and it's no longer the game I loved to watch growing up with Henry and co. It's ok for refs to make mistakes but he is just a puppet now while two people in some dark closet watching a TV screen pull his strings and fix games without any consequences. For the love of football VAR needs to go. It's killing the competitive nature of the game.

A well known musician from a very well known band, once told me that the drummer is nearly always the nutjob of any band, in watching football for several decades, I think the goalie is largely the team's drummer and by that it doesn't mean he's an actual lunatic, just he does looney things, has unfathomable moments, like rushes of blood to his head. Think Grobbelaar, Lehmann, even Schmeicel Raya has got a bit of a nutjob in him, he's had a few WTF you doing moments this season, the reason why Ramsdale was upgraded. He's a tier 3 GK, Courtois, Alisson, Oblak, Martinez are Tier 1, the No2's of CITY, LIV & Real Madrid are better than Raya, give them a poke and see their thoughts. His kicking is great but there's flaws in his game and he's quite short for a GK, think how Buffon would stretch those long limbs to prevent in the corner shots from going in. The goal should have stood, it was a PEN because they're given so give it to us, Rice & Havertz were immense.

I hate seeing the cone man because he has messed it up again this season his ego never allowed him to take havertz out of the midfield sooner and now it's us wishing city drop points which is almost impossible at this time in the season..if partey played against villa we would more than likely be in the drivers seat...this game shows me that we definitely need a high conversion rate striker we have to create too many chances to score goals..raya is a massive liability

I love Martinelli. But after nearly a season, I can see his strength only the speed, positive and hard work. The rest, he is nothing. He can't dribble, lack of football intelligent, very bad finishing, no strength like Saka to hold the ball, and no vision. Sell him and buy someone much better. At his price, we can get 2 good players better than him. And don't forget to sell Eddie, Nelson, and Vieira. These players have no contribution at all to the team. I never feel missing of them at all when they are not playing. That's how bad these players are. Stop being sympathy in football. We need who can really contribute to the team even from the bench. Who can change the game.
