Shane here! We are going for a night in a hotel tomorrow in Nashville and to a concert in Ryman Auditorium. So I am cleaning today a little in. Cleaning both bathrooms, finishing laundry, wiping down cabinets and tidying townhouse. I have a sinus infection so will go to clinic later. I love your videos! Love how you stick out your tongue to make a funny point! My father always did that and he was the most comical man! Thanks for giving me a chuckle!! Loved your struggle with the shelf!! Too funny! Three things: 1) Putting that spinny tray under your sink - GENIUS! I never would have thought of that! 2) Is it my imagination, or does that sideways-standing muffin tin have a bit of a curve to it? I'd love to hear that story! 😂 3) Everything gets lost in those blasted lower cupboards! (Sometimes, even if they aren't lost, it's too much effort to get to them!) Good call on the pull-outs! (P.S. the face you made when you broke the shelf holder - 🤣🤣🤣)

I just love love these videos of you revisiting spaces that you’ve done once before. Just like peeling off the layers of an onion, one baby step at a time we always find more things we realize we’re not using. Great job mama, I’m always so proud of you.… On That same note, you’re the only KZfaqrs I ever feel like “oh I wish I could hug her!” Isn’t it awkward to feel like you have a sentimental attachment to a person online you’ve never met. I haven't decluttered a thing but I've watched you do a lot. Lol Loved when you stuck out your tongue and slid to the floor. That's something I would do. I have a small kitchen and it took me 4m to go through it all! Life always throws curveballs and I have two kids. Now I feel like I need to take a day to go over it all in one swipe to feel like it's truly done!

Love it! I think one thing we all forget when decluttering, especially the kitchen, is that it's okay to move things around. When we first move into a new home we store things away and get stuck in the mindset that those items live in that first picked out spot. No one is telling us we can't move them to a new designated spot. Can't wait to see what you have planned for the new year.

This was me yesterday wanted to organize a huge walk in the closet full of toys and my whole living room which includes a craft corner. The craft corner took me like 6 hours and then I am like well that took 5 hours longer than I thought it would lol oops.

I'm getting all my cabinets, included bathrooms, painted. What a great motivation to declutter since all the crap is literally all over my house. Fingers crossed tomorrow is the last day. I have quite a haul for Goodwill.

I'm working on trying to get my life together between a 40 hour a week working from home job along with with homeschool. I've been decluttering. our family of 5, which includes 3 kids, have had glass pyrex for the past 4 years now. No more plastic for us. It works amazing and if you keep them stacked nice with the lids on, youll save so much space. We recycled all of our plastic tupperware and never looked back!

They do make a free standing filing system for trays. You can get them on Amazon. They’re great. 😘

Well done!🙂❤ I still have Christmas things that still need to be put away. Glad you all are feeling better. We had the virus after Thanksgiving. My parents and sister got it at Christmas. Sadly, we just lost my dad yesterday due to complications. 💔 Praise the Lord for heaven. He's with Jesus now. ❤❤❤

Regarding recycling, check with who picks up your recycling for what they will take. Mine for example only takes plastic with a number 1 and 2 printed on them. I use a pot lid rack for my cookie sheet and muffin pan, works perfectly

Loved this as always. I giggled with the shelf fiasco. I’m going on 2 weeks sick with the Rona and this was much needed for my mental well being, just having a laugh knowing I’ve felt much the same way when things aren’t working easily. Thanks again and I’m glad you guys are feeling better. 💜

They do make a freestanding storage for your pans!! Sometimes you can use the ones made for lids!!

You could use dollar store napkin holders zip tied together as a standing holder for cookie sheets and tall stuff. People put hand towels in them in the bathroom too. 😬

At first I was a little frustrated having to re lean where everything goes but after a couple of days the organization makes cooking and cleaning a lot easier. Love the video Babe!!

Hi am new too yer channel, I also suffer mental health problems I have depression and bad Anxiety and sad. I have been finding it really hard lately as I have had alot going on in ma family and just split up with my boyfriend too. I also wont too get ma KZfaq channel all sorted but needing too learn how too edit ect and also where too start. The last 3days I have managed too get out ma bed and started too try and get ma house cleaned up as I have so let it go and it's in such a mess just I have never lived like this as I hate a messy and dirty house and the way iam liveing the now is driving me crazy and as I have OCD as well. Iam glad I have come across your channel, you are great . So would love too have a friend like you god bless and take care xxx

I'm also horrible about cleaning my cabinets. The prior owners painted them, and the paint is starting to wear off. So everytime I wipe them, I'm reminded I should paint them. And that task is paralyzing 🤣 I'm sure it's not as hard as I think it's going to be, but man I have labeled it as The Thing I Dread Sound Most lol! Your kitchen looks great and I love that pull out cabinet insert!

Hi! just recently found your channel and love it! Your so funny. Just a suggestion about your brown plates from your wedding. Why not just keep one size of each plate and the bowl and put it on display in your china cabinet. You keep some of it for sentimental reasons, but don't need to keep all of them and it frees up room. Keep on being you. your amazing!

Just realised I NEVER use pan lids - they also take up so much space. After 30 years I let go of them. More space and totally not missed !!

It takes more space, but I store my glass Pyrex with the lids on. It keeps the glass from breaking.

Rona took my house hostage too. I've managed to kind of keep the kitchen clean. But I think I want one of those pullout drawers for under my sink. So many things get lost in the back and I end up double purchasing. The savings along justify the purchasing.

Walmart has a small, freestanding filing system.. I use mine mostly for cutting boards but I’m sure they would work for the sheet pans as well. I bought two and put one directly in front of the other to make them longer. They have “grippies” on the bottoms which helps keep them in place. I’ve been pleased with them. I love all your videos. Thanks for keeping things so real! I literally laughed so hard when you asked, “Why does everything have to be so hard?!” I really felt that!! Lol.

For the cookie sheers, etc., use either a mail organizer from an office supply store OR take metal napkin holders from dollar tree, zip-tie them together and store your items.

I use fishing tackle boxes for my junk draw bits- clear an low line so I can instantly see everything without rummaging around

Shannon, this was great! Love your new sliding system. I have the double-floor lazy susan too. Since about 1 yr. Glad you are all feeling better. We all got it right before the New Year. It sure seemed to set me back at home for weeks, because that is our normal pack up Christmas time. You did a great job on the kitchen! I'm just getting back into a routine. Feels good. :)

I use a lid holder (free standing) to organize my baking sheets. It should help with your space.

I decluttered and deep cleaned my kitchen this month too. I finished it up yesterday when I put in a few new organisational pieces in my pantry. I can’t stop looking at it. It is just so satisfying opening those doors and seeing everything in place 😃 I use filing racks for my chopping boards and trays to stand upright. You could try looking in the office section of big box stores or office supply stores for something similar for you muffin tins etc.

I like using lidless containers as drawer organizers when I can. I also use boxes, like shoe boxes or even the lids. Just an idea. I’ve been binging on your channel, and I wonder if you ever run bleach through your jacuzzi? That’s what I did when I had one. Miss that tub!!! ☹️

Please keep him in your prayers as he was too young to be vaccinated, here in the UK it's 12+. On a lighter note, I really identified with you trying to get that shelf out and when you slid down the cabinet I burst out laughing as I've done similar myself! Keep being awesome xx
