You could try to sell the bracelets you make that you do not wear!! I believe people would be interested in buying them!

Hi Shannon. I gave my class ring to my husband, who now keeps it with his (not worn anymore). I got rid of most of the costume jewelry, as I am very sensitive too and break out or leaves tarnish marks on my fingers and ears. I even mailed some jewelry back to my exes, to the joy of my hub! The sentimental stuff I will never part with. Great video. Can’t wait to see how your Mom does with the decluttering.

I'm the same way I like the idea of wearing a jury but I'm ending up wearing the most simple ones if I wear any!😃 Great video Shannon! As always! xx💙ha ha lol I laugh out loud when you find the harmonica😂

You don’t have that much stuff to go through. You could fill up the bracelet holder with more pieces and that is about it. I have large amazing “plastic” bangles and they take up a lot of space so I have many different places to keep my bangles throughout my rooms. I get rashes too with metal so I only buy stainless steel jewerly now and you should consider wearing stainless steel meta as well. Best option snd stainless is not expensive.

I put my jewelry into a jewelry binder. I made beaded jewelry for many years and sold it. I donated everything to the local high school. I love your simple beaded bracelet. You did a great job decluttering. I threw my class ring away. I didn’t want to keep it or donate it but I wanted it gone. Mine was hundreds so i probably should have sold it. Lol

HikeGardenTravel it is so fun to make bracelets, but once you have a lot then there is no reason to keep making them. The class ring is a scam in my opinion, way over priced. I wonder if they still sell them.

Great job Shannon! I used to knit and I ended up with waaaay too many knitting needles, patterns and wool that I had great intentions of using. I donated all the wool and patterns in my 30 day minimalism challenge last year and finally gave away the needles a few months ago. It was hard to let those go but I haven’t knit in at least 3 years 😊💗

Thank you! Sometimes its hard to for me to realize I don't do certain hobbies anymore, but minimizing is helping me realize what I really like to do and what I don't want to spend time on. Its great you are doing the same 💛

They still do a class ring! In 2008 my highschool had the paperwork for it and then much later in the 2010s the technical college I was at had the offer. I have large fingers for a woman so I was so excited to have a ring that fit but then I put it on and realized I was allergic

I used to love chunky jewellery but I got rid of loads after having kids. I suppose I felt cluttered up wearing it whilst trying to bath or dress the children. I only wear a wedding band and small earnings now, and certainly don't miss anything I got rid of. Great vid Shannon, thanks for sharing xx

You did a great job decluttering. I wear a simple plain wedding band. It's what I wanted I didn't want an engagement ring. It's a simple version of a mans band. I also wear a necklace with angel wings. That's is it simple and easy.

I am planning to declutter my jewelry this weekend too! I'll be filming it for my channel as well. I love the jewelry stand you have. I have a similar one. I have so much jewelry that I don't wear I can't wait to declutter it! omg yes I have a class ring so pointless lol

nice video Shannon. I found out I am severely allergic to nickel. Anyway if you're sensitive to nickel, be careful with white gold, it often has nickel in it. I just had a custom ring made and they had to make it from 24k yellow gold + 100% pure palladium = white gold. One of the most sensitive parts of your body for jewelry is pieced ears, so I avoid earrings with nickel. Good luck.

Tiffany Nelson thank you for the advice, I have found wearing 24k earrings seems to work for me too, anything else and my ears swell! That is great you made a custom ring, I bet it looks awesome 😊

it sure does! it's so much nicer and easier to pick when you keep only things you really enjoy and you can see right away what you have! Hope you are having a good one too! :)
