Beautiful work! Organizer tip: put what you use the most where you can quickly access it. Consider putting your towels on the shelf above or below your washcloths and put stuff you rarely use (hair tools, extra stuff, etc) on the top shelf.

I needed this today! 😁 My grandma used to give everyone who was grown a new set of towels from Wally World every Christmas wrapped in a (new 😂) trash bag. She passed in 2003 but I still have some, though now they are now for my dogs. I fold people towels in rectangles and dog towels in squares so I can keep the people towels nice.

I fold my towels. Also I found it lifechanging to hire someone to come once a week or once every two weeks to clean my apartment up for me. Sometimes we just get tired of doing it ourselves. There are so many online sites to find affordable cleaners too. Highly recommend.

I fold for shelving roll for travel. I fold my towels into thirds then the edges fold in a quarter in then fold them in again. No edges show and they don’t get easily mussed by anything getting moved around them. They also stack nicely in any direction. Been folding them this way for over 3 decades. Never fails.

I have been looking for an online video to no avail but I’ll see if I can describe it using a US $20 dollar bill should work the same regardless of denomination. Take the ‘bill’ and fold it so that the word Federal is completely folded against the face, then repeat with the other side so that side lines up the ‘RS’ of the word dollars on the ack of the bill. Then fold the top and bottom so edges meet in the middle. Lastly fold the bill so those edges are now all inside all you should see on the outside is the White House and ‘In God We Trust’ on the very edge of the final fold. I sure hope this helps! You can stack them vertically but also in linen drawers you can line them up so the ‘rib’ of the towel, the top quarter of the White House columns in the bill demo, is pointed up so they stay folded. Also by distributing the towel seams you don’t get that slant towel stacks get from all the seams resting atop each other.

The green Lego box of makeup that symbolizes holding on to creative endeavors, I relate to soooo much. I’ve been so heavily into makeup and art and crafting all my life but I’ve had to put so much of it on the back burner to get through just that basics of life. Even though I have so much clutter from my creative hobbies that are collecting dust, I don’t want to get rid of things because I still have a vision for them and I still want to use everything. Like you said, to throw it out is like throwing myself away as well especially when I’ve already given up so much.

The type of box you used for your beads, I use for earrings and rings when I travel. Keeps the thinner, more delicate pieces from being bent in the suitcase. Also, store your jade roller in the fridge, it will feel so nice.

Hey, hey, hey! Another thing you can do is fold matching… or somewhat matching… washcloths and fold them inside a corresponding towel! That would open an entire shelf for you and anytime you grabbed a towel a wash cloth would be inside!

That teardrop looking thing with the three brown dots from lush you put in your extras closet looks like an after shower lotion bar! You like, rub it on your skin while still wet in the shower and then you dry off and then BLAM! That’s your lotion step! It can make the tub a little slippery so I’d just rinse the tub with hot water after/ just see how it treats you!

I roll my towels, but when I do fold them, I fold them horizontally first to make them shorter. I can't explain how shocked/puzzled I was to watch you fold them vertically first. Also, maybe we should waft the products for our safety. 😂

I learned that towel roll where it folds inside itself from TikTok and now I roll everything. I feel like it makes my towel storage look nicer and makes it easier to find what I want.
