I am on a journey to try any surround myself with only items that serve me in this current stage of my life. At the same time, I would like to go in a more environmentally harmonious direction. Your videos really inspire me although I don't know if I will ever be able to rise to your level. I tease my husband and tell him my dream would be to fit everything I own in my car. I love the idea of being easily mobile even if not needed. The thought is so freeing to me. I'll keep watching you and keep on my journey. Be well, be safe.

Givaway Entry. I’ve done my best over the last few years to incorporate sustainability practices in my life. One thing I really want to do this year is start my garden (even a small one for now) and find a compost barrel. I had a secondhand compost barrel at my last house, but sadly had to leave it behind when we moved. Love your videos, thank you for all you do. ☘️

Giveaway entry - I'm at a very exciting moment in my life, I just got married (yes, even with the pandemic going on) which allowed us to have a very intimate and minimal celebration just with close family. But, now we are in the process of getting a used apartment and since I've never been a housewife I could really use some tips on how to make my new home as sustainable and eco friendly as possible. Thanks for this opportunity Christine :D

✨Giveaway Entry✨ (I don’t know if I was supposed to comment here as a reply or as my own comment, so here we go again, lol) One way I plan on incorporating more sustainability into my life is to just draw digitally instead of on paper or canvas. I go through a whole lot of paper when drawing and making art, so I figure if I draw digitally (on my phone, laptop, etc.) it’ll cause much less waste. 😁

'GIVE AWAY ENTRY' - One way I incorporate sustainability into my life is instead of buying books, I exchange them for second hand books at the train station Enfield Chase in London. There is a wooden shelf near entry where train travelers can dispose their books and pick up new books. You can read books in different languages and it's a great way to minimise deforestation and increase recycling. It's more affordable too. Thank you📚

This has refreshed the feel of my master bedroom. Just changed the lens of my home. Now, I have a theme of ‘my tranquil space’. Next task, clean out my wardrobe. I've been reducing how much I travel in a private car. I recently got a job within walking distance of my home, so I've been walking to and from work each day. The university where I study is a bit further away, so I've opted for public transport to get there. During the time it takes to commute, I take time for myself by listening to guided meditations or reading a book. Speaking of books, I'm a big bookworm. I would spend so much money on books which would just clutter my bookshelves. A while ago, I cleared out my bookshelves, keeping only those I am likely to read again or have great sentimental value. I gave some books to friends, donated some to local libraries, or donated them to local charity shops. Now, I read books friends lend to me or borrow from the public library. I'm considering trying e-books, but am not entirely convinced I will enjoy it as much. For any bookworms out there, what is your take on e-books?

Giveaway entry! I hope to begin the declutter of our home and move into something much smaller. I feel chained to our stuff, and the never ending care it requires. Life is too short to spend it in a home full of stuff you never use nor want any longer! I’m also trying to reduce the amount of plastic brought into our bone. Although we recycle, it appears that much of it still goes into the land fill here. Thank you for the motivation!

It has been more difficult during this pandemic since less products have been available in bulk and everything has been packaged more to prevent “spreading germs” but I still do my best in small ways by bringing my own utensils and water bottle wherever I go and once again shopping at thrift stores now that they are open again, etc.

Giveaway Entry: I've been on my simplicity and sustainability journey for quite some time. My current sustainable habits include refusing items, avoiding plastic and single-use items, and choosing clothing that doesn't use synthetic fibers, although there's much I can still improve in this area. Besides lowering my environmental footprint with my clothing more, I'm hoping to switch my simple-life journey to more of a minimalist journey. Just consuming less (and most likely desiring less) will likely have a dramatic impact on my use of resources. I'm hoping to also up my household's sustainability IQ as I learn even more about sustainability and intentional living.

Giveaway entry.......what another informational video. At 61, I’ve had “many” things to declutter and it hasn’t been a smooth process!!! I have a long way to go yet. I love passing things on to friends or donate to thrift shops! I’ve seen the light to live lightly and not to obtain so many things that just sit in my closet. Most of my items are sewing things and then small collections of silly things. It’s freeing to finally let go of these things!

I have been working on reducing and decluttering my life for a few years and it’s not an easy process for me personally as I am an only child and associate a lot of memories with stuff. The only books I keep are ones that I love and are typically signed. A signed book just means so much more to me. My fiancé and I are installing 2 new garden beds so that we can grow some of our favorite veggies for the summer. I know that is only one sustainable item we have added to our life together, but I would love to add more. I am super interested in owning your books as I love your videos and I know we want to become a more sustainable household. Thank you for all your content. I truly enjoy it.

"giveaway entry'. Dear Christine, I started following your channel one week ago. I'd love to receive your book since I strongly feel the need to let go of things I don't really need, learn more about how I can leave more sustainably and let come or make space for what it matters. I'm noticing lately how the excess of belongings are keeping me from taking better care for myself since all the things demand so much time to clean and organize them. I also have a two year old daughter, so I feel like the only thing I do it's to clean and organize. My place started to make me anxious and I hope your channel will help me on this journey of focus on what's important! I'm going to start to declutter my bedroom in a view minutes, so that's why I watched this video for inspiration and motivation. Thank you for the work you're doing! ‘Giveaway entry’ One way I’m trying to live a more sustainable life is by buying quality over quantity. I’d rather spend more money on a single item that I know I will use for many years than buy much less expensive items that will breakdown much quicker. I’m on a decluttering journey although a slow one. As our thrift shops and donation centres are closed now, I’ve joined a Buy Nothing group on Facebook. It is proving to be very effective. As I find things in my home to declutter I post a photo on the group’s page. Almost immediately I have people wanting the items. I leave the items on my front porch at the decided pick up time and this way it’s also no contact. It feels so good to be decluttering my home but also helping people in my community. It’s a win/win situation.😊❤️

Giveaway Entry Aaaw..I'd like to get that copy of your book.🥺 You know Christine, you've been a great help throughout my pandemic experience. I started decluttering little by little and being conscious now with my purchases. It is really hard though to transition and avoid single use plastics... but hey, small efforts go a looooong way right? 😊 Looking forward to more sustainable and minimalist living videos. P.S. I don't know if you have done it, but I am interested to know what a minimalist/sustainable advocate's ref is. 😊

Giveaway Entry!! I still struggle with the amount of plastic that my food comes in, so I would like to work on buying less packaged items. Thankfully, my town just got a bulk store, which will help me a lot with this issue!

*giveaway entry* I'd love to read the book! One way I am trying to incorporate sustainability is to be more intentional about consumerism. It's hard for me though

GIVEAWAY ENTRY. I have many areas to work on, however, my biggest area that I would start with first would be clothing. I tend "over shop" and end up with 3 or 4 tops in the same color. I tend to do the same with my daughter and I do not want her to pick this up and carry it into adulthood.

Giveaway entry! I'd love to win your book! One way I'd like to incorporate sustainability in my life is to figure out what to do with clothing that is too ratty to sell or give away. I've made rags with some clothes, but other materials just don't make good rags, so I'd love to experiment and figure out a way to give them a second life. Thanks for your videos, love your content!

giveaway entry I am quite sustainability with my clothes, like I can definitely short the amount of clothes I own but most of my clothes are secondhand and I often change them with my family members. This way we can enjoy diversity in the clothing's without buying new stuff. I hope that someday I own only clothing's that secondhand or from a fair fashion brand. Also we use some self-made soap and cleaning supplies but we need to try out a lote more to finde something we truly happy with.

Giveaway entry I like to keep my home clean and tidy. I try to teach my kids to do the same. I find it easier when we have less furnitures and clothes. It teaches them also to take care of what they have. 🤍 Thanks for the awesome giveaway!
