This is exactly the kind of motivation I need! I’m a mom of 3 young kiddos, two of them being twins. I’m in the process of decluttering our entire house before Christmas. We are drowning in toys and too much stuff accumulated. I’m trying to encourage experiences as gifts (like museums and adventures), instead of more material objects. It’s just tough in a time of Covid when experiences are limited. 🙌🏼

My mum and I do shared experiences instead of gifts - we have a manicure or pedicure then lunch in nice cafe. For last several years.

This might be the weirdest request! But oh well. Could you do a video on how you sort/do your laundry and what products you use? I never truly learned and since I live alone I just end up throwing all of my clothes in at once. They are starting to look dull. There is no one I trust more than Sarah for something like this!!!

You have to sort them out. Towels, Bed sheets and so on have to be washed in 60°C, then there are colourful clothes + black and white clothes which you wash separately at 40°C and fragile clothing that you wash at 30°C or cooler

Sarah has2 yoga mats - one indoor, one outdoor, 1-2 sets of dumbbells, I think she has some bands as well (for shoulder mobility - it was in a video a while back) She likes Madfit and Sarah's day work outs. She has Sarah's ebooks and timer. She already has a stretching routine and 2 workout videos on her channel about healing her diastasis recti. Hope that helps!

@@biboubip_lea I was holding on to a lot of things because they were expensive and it felt wasteful donating them. But I decided to change my mindset. I ended up donating my stuff to a women’s shelter. And I was thinking how much someone else would be able to enjoy it! It helped me get rid of a lot of nice stuff I wasn’t wearing anymore. My closet is half the size but it’s so clean and organized now. It feels amazing!

I love this video because it showed a great real side to how a house full of kids actually looks in terms of junk you HAVE to actually have. I feel like you showed an awesome realistic look at how to declutter yet how your place doesn’t look empty even though you’re full on! In my head sometimes I think “I need to get to nearly nothing like Sarah cuz she has kids too!” But this video showed me a more normal looking place and made me feel good about where I’m at with decluttering. Loved it.

Hi Sarah! Your videos are very helpful to me, as it's taken me YEARS to declutter (nostalgia.... and a life of traveling, so I have to intentionally carve out time to do so. Also, my grandmother was a collector (some would say hoarder). So, because of that history, it's a bit hard for me to give away. But your videos help me SO MUCH. Lady, I went through a kitchen reno that went 4 weeks past schedule during a pandemic, with a newborn and 2 other wild boys. Wanting to cry for a multitude of reasons is completely normal. Its always worth it. Stay grateful. Can't wait to see it all done!

We do something similar at home, too. With the kids toys, we set aside some toys for Santa to pick up and gift others (donate them on the sneak tip) 😊 we're due for some decluttering, thanks for the inspo ♥️

I have 87 plants in our 2 bedroom flat. It's like a jungle in here. And we had a plant declutter of ones i don't like. Yet as soon as a space is available, my husband wants more plants, when i want the space for decor. Lol

Have Otterbox myself and I swear on it! I think I have the defender for my phone and it really protects it from so much in the laboratory, outside, falling down during sports etc.... my phone beneath is still like new after 1.5 years! And further by the belt clip I clip it to my front basket of my bike and by the rough rubber surface it stays in my trouthers pocket! So great! Just still didn't find glass protection being suitable with that cover and still working with the finger print.

Same here. Just overwhelmed, completly. Busy job, also renos (severe water damage at the house) and therefore a messy and not very christmasy house, a child in quarantine because of covid,...uhhhh. Me and hubby are just so tired...hopefully willbe able to tackle some stuff on the weekend.

I'm looking at using seagrass baskets in cube storage for kids toys like you did. Amazon has Small, Medium, and Large. Based on the dementions it seems like a large should fit. What size are the ones you are using?

do you use natural family planning/ hw do you navigate birth control as a mom who doesn't want to get pregnant? I'd really enjoy it if you did an episode or video talking about it. or even just your thoughts on it (natural family planning seems really great, but makes me nervous because i don't know if it'll work). BTW loved today's video:)

If you do not want to have children right now you should either be abstinent or on a hormonal contraceptive, using a condom, and using the withdrawal method! Even done correctly natural family planning is not very effective
