I decluttered my kitchen last fall. Oh, what an undertaking that was for me! I watched many videos but I should have heeded the advice like you said here. Take your time...when you rush you stress yourself out. I must say if you have not decluttered in 10+ years then yes be patient and pick the style of decluttering that is best for you at this time in your life like you said in the video. Do you want to go by items or a section? It took me a couple months because I was also buying new containers and had to shop around all while working full time. I do not regret decluttering but there is a wise way to do it. Your way is much more sensible so you do not stress yourself out. :)

Perfect timing. We started Diwali cleaning today. Instead of giving away chipped Teflon tawas and flat pans, my mom took out the handles and made lazy susans out of them. ✨

Wow...much needed video during this festival season😁 even myself started decluttering the aluminum utensils and opting for steel...have discarded long bk those nonstick kadai..pan..tawa and replaced with iron. Now replacing slowly plastic jars with glass, steel and ceramic. Waiting for the next video...thanks Jaya 💕🤗👍
